Work-cation! - Part 2

Sunday morning T was up early and out the door to his next golf engagement. The little ones and I got up a little later and snuck out of the room to let the big girls sleep a little longer. We headed down the hill to McDonald's to pick up some breakfast, and we also grabbed sandwiches at Subway to save for lunch later. They found these cute stuffies and wanted to get them for Auntie M who loves horses and highland cows. :)

We got back, ate breakfast, and then slowly packed up our things to check out by 11. Then we headed down to the pool for another relaxing day.

Apparently I didn't get a picture but Boo and Peanut spent hours in pool's bathroom because that was the only place there was an outlet and they were doing their nails and henna. :P They did eventually come out into the sunshine.

After swimming for several hours the little ones got dressed and we grabbed golf clubs again so we could finish our putt putt.

It was much easier in the day time!

But still very hard! The hills were really difficult to navigate.

Lou had her own technique. Lol.

Peaches did pretty well!

I took this picture to give perspective on just how big the hills were!

And then Peanut took one from where she was.

Peaches wanted a picture of her fancy move. :)

One of the girls suggested they get a picture with their age number on the flags. Lou has really grown in the last few months! She looks so tall and leggy to me!

Peaches is due for a big growth spurt any day...I can tell she's getting ready to shoot up!

And this one looks like a full grown adult at 13! So pretty!

And of course Boo is as beautiful as ever at Sweet 16!

It took a lot longer than we thought to golf so we only made it through ten holes before needing to leave to go meet Daddy at resort location #2. My favorite thing about this one is the flowers! SO gorgeous!!

We always get a few pictures to send to Noni since she loves them too!

We checked into our room and the girls changed into some nicer clothes before we headed to another dinner with Daddy's colleagues. This one is a fancy Italian place. The girls took pictures of all the food since it was plated so nicely. These first two were the appetizers. A baked brie with crackers and fruit...

And some polenta with feta, tomatoes, and onions with a balsamic glaze.

We got Caesar salads next, and then everyone but me chose Chicken Parmesan for their main dish.

Then they brought us dessert menus. The girls ordered Gelato...Huckleberry for Boo, Pistachio for Peanut...

And Butterfinger for Lou.

I got a lemon cake.

And I forgot to get a picture of Peaches and T's chocolate chip cookie sundaes because theirs took a while to come out and we had been sitting there for almost two hours by the time they finally did and everyone was ready to get out of there.

I took the little ones back to get ready for bed but T and the big girls went for a walk and then played some volleyball outside our room on the grass.

More tomorrow!
