70 ft. Banana Split!

Last week was 70ft banana split night! It's the girl's 2nd favorite night of the year behind the Grand Prix.

Thankfully Peanut was on the end...one less neighbor to share germs with! Haha :)

Yum!

That's a lot of banana splits!

Boo is in the 6 year old crazy-face-for-the-camera phase. :P Right after I took this picture a boy dug his spoon right into Boo's section and then before I could stop her she ate another bite...so far she hasn't gotten sick. :P

Bug went for the germ-free option.

It's always a fun night!

Showering Peaches

Our wonderful church family threw Peaches a sweet baby shower the other day! Of course she didn't notice much... :)

But I was so happy that she got a shower even though she's the 4th girl! She may have three big sisters and lots of hand-me-downs, but she's our special, precious girl and I love her just as much as if she were the only baby I'd ever had!

It was a salad potluck and all the ladies brought delicious salads to share!

Peaches loves Mama snuggles!

Our sweet friend Ms L drove out! It was so fun to see her and have her meet Peaches!

Ms B finally got to hold her.

Shower games!

One of the games was a word scramble and the other was matching animals to their gestation time. It was hard!

I had LOTS of help opening presents! :)

We got tons of diapers and wipes and some sweet outfits, books, bibs, and other things. It was a wonderful shower! I am so thankful for our amazing church family. We love them so much!

Meeting the Family

Wow I feel like I can't get caught up on my blogging! A couple weeks ago we had to pick up something from Uncle B so we met up at a restaurant that is roughly halfway between our houses and the rest of Daddy's side of the family got to meet Peaches.

Auntie M.

Cousin S. The oldest and youngest girl cousins! Seems like just the other day S was the baby of the family!

The girls adore their cousin S!

Uncle B.

Cousin E didn't want to hold her...but who can blame a 10 year old boy for not being too interested in babies. :) We couldn't stay long, but it was fun to see them while we could.

Later, at home, Peaches was giving me all sorts of smiles!

Love this face!

She is getting so expressive and alert!

We had a busy day! That night was her first time coming with me to AWANA. She was a perfect angel and slept the whole time in her carrier next to my secretary table.

The next week she did the same thing. I think we'll have no problem finishing out the year. Next year when she's starting to get mobile will probably be a little harder! :)

Smiles for Daddy

Peaches is now giving us smiles on command. Love it. Every time I go to pick her up from her nap she gives me big smiles as soon as she focuses on my face. It's the sweetest thing! She is also starting to "talk" more and Daddy is the best at getting her to do it. Bug took this video of the two of them.

Videos

Here are two videos from last week. The first one is of T making funny noises at Peaches and she gave big smiles. :)

The second one cracked me up...but I didn't get the funniest part. Peaches was doing some #2 business and making some pretty loud noises. The first time it happened Cocoa whipped her head back in bewilderment and then got the funniest look on her face. So funny!

Bounce!

Somehow I missed posting these pictures from when Aunt Nina and Sammy were here. We took the kids to play. I tried to get pictures, but everyone was moving too fast!

Blur #3

Sammy was the only one going slow enough for me to get. He was happy to just walk around and look at all the inflateables. :)

They played Pictionary on the chalk wall.

And Noni got some baby snuggles in. :)

So fun to have all the grandkids together!

They had to do a few rides.

Noni, Papa, Aunt Nina, and Sammy had to head back, but the girls and I were able to stay another 30 min. to get a little more energy out.

They were SO sweet. They happily played together, and when I said it was time to go they hopped out with a, "Yes Ma'am" and went right to get their shoes on. I told them we would be able to go again soon since they had such good attitudes. It's so nice that they're getting older and more responsible!

Dance and Diapers

I can't seem to stay ahead with my pictures! These are from the end of February. I went up to video the girls dances so they could practice for the recital, and I had to get a few pictures of Peanut.

Cute little class warming up.

I love watching her at dance. She is so little and adorable. She LOVES dance class and asks me all day long, "Is it time to go yet?"  She can't wait until next year when she is big enough to do both classes like her sisters!

"Hands on my hips!"

 Love it!

The rest of these pictures are of Peaches the day she switched from Newborn to sz. 1 diapers. The newborn ones were getting really tight (this was at about 4 weeks) so we made the switch once we ran out of the package we were on.

Big girl! :)

Love this face!

Ok, that's all for now. :)
