We were at a friend's house for dinner and she found this duck in the boys' room. She cracked me up when she gave a little shake of her head and said, "How weird!"
I love the way she says, "peezas". So cute.

Miss A, our worship team leader, has been out for months due to a really bad bout of Covid. We've all been taking turns leading and since we needed extra singers some of the teenage girls have been helping out. Bug and Boo have both sang multiple times, and it's really fun to see them up there!
Happy Thursday! :)
I can't remember why but the other day Lou was home with Daddy while he was installing the laundry cabinets. He said she picked up his screwgun and started working. :) Just like her Daddy if she sees something done she can pick it up easily!
We were so excited when it was finally time for lake days again!! They are some of our best days of summer! This year was even better because now that Lou is almost three she doesn't require hands-on supervision at the lake. With her life jacket on I can actually let her get a few yards away from me without worrying about her dumping herself in the lake. It also really helps that we got a life jacket that doesn't slip off!
The first day we took the kayaks Peaches sadly said, "I don't know how to do that." I put her on it, showed her how to hold the paddle, and off she went. This is the slowest she's gone since. Now she hops on and darts off like a bullet!
Since we'd had such a late night and weren't in a huge hurry to get home we let everyone sleep in the next morning. It was nearly lunchtime by the time we left so we stopped at In and Out, before we headed down the road!
For our last evening in Oregon we went bowling! I can't remember the last time we'd gone. I don't think Peaches had ever been before.
We started off with boys vs. girls but then Bug switched over because there were so many more girls we were taking twice as long. :)
Peaches did really well even though the ball was very heavy for her. She tried a couple of different styles. :)
Grandma pegged that one! I never knew a two year old could have so much fun bowling! Her only complaint was that the ball took too long to come back to her. Otherwise she bowled her entire first game straight without a break!
