Pizza

We tried a new pizza place the other day and the little ones had us in stitches. Peaches was showing us her muscles and making all kinds of strained "tough" faces.

Haha!

Boo and Daddy both tried their fruit flavored lemonade and one of them let Lou have a sip. The rest of the meal she kept sneaking off her seat and trying to inconspicuously shuffle over to get to Boo's lemonade and drink out of it.

Then she would quietly say, "Yum yum!" and lick her lips.

So funny!

These girls are a hoot!

Leftover Thursday

 Chaos on a golf cart!

But at least it's a happy chaos! :)

They knocked out the wall between the preschool Sunday school room and the Middle school so that AWANA and Children's church will have enough room. It was way too crowded before. Noni spent a while designing what the room would be and then one day I went and helped her get started on painting. We were headed to the lake that day so I just did a little and she had to finish the rest. She got this picture of me doing the detail along the bottom.

She fixed the room up so cute in different stations. Here is the adorable Diner set she bought.

The girls got to ride on the combines one day when our friends were harvesting near our house. Boo and Peaches went with Grandpa D and Peanut and Lou went with Miss B.

She looked so little when I went to pick them up. :)

I'm glad they got to see the workings of harvest first hand!

Pool Party!

I convinced Peanut to have her birthday party at the water park...what better place for an August birthday! We had gone there so many times for her birthday when she was little she had gotten tired of it, but now it was a whole new adventure with her friends!

It was a hot day and perfect for the pool!

She invited siblings so all the girls had friends there. Bug and A.

Boo and R.

Peaches, A, and A.

And I have officially leveled up! Lou was big enough to go down the slide by herself so I no longer have to go!

She was so happy and proud of herself!

We took a time out for cupcakes and presents.

Happy Birthday to you...

Her friends got her lots of sweet gifts.

We had snacks with the cupcakes.

But they still wanted to get something from the snack bar later...that's part of the fun of the pool. :)

They swam and played and hung out for hours!

And Daddy was able to join us for part of the party.

It was a wonderful day celebrating our not-so-little Peanut!

Peanut's Birthday!

Peanut came down on her birthday and wasn't quite sure what to think.

Two big boxes?

That were holding a queen bed and mattress that she's been asking for for a while now! We let her open a couple presents that morning while Daddy was still home.

A pretty purse from Auntie M and Uncle B.

And Boo got her this.

A nice big art set!

She wanted Toaster Strudels for her birthday breakfast.

Then Daddy went to work and after a while we headed to her birthday party. The rest of these pictures are from when we got home. She wanted Dominos for dinner so Grandma and Grandpa picked it up for us and met us at home after the party. After dinner she got to open the rest of her presents.

She got a huge pack of all different kinds of slime from Grandma and Grandpa, birthday money from Mama, Aunt K, Uncle K and Aunt J. Tennis shoes from Auntie N and Uncle W.

Art supplies from Auntie N and Uncle M.

And a bunch of stuff to decorate her room from her sisters including a blanket, new artwork, an old fashioned alarm clock, some signs, new throw pillow covers, and new sheets. We also gave her a comforter set.

Happy birthday to you...

Her room now has an updated teenager feel and looks very nice!

Party pictures tomorrow!

Themepark Fun!

We went to the theme-park on the camp staff day so we could get discounted tickets. The girls had a blast because a bunch of their friends were there. Bug, Peanut, F, and E went up to camp early to get our tickets and the rest of us met them at the park. Noni sweetly offered to drive her car so that some of the kids who weren't going to be able to come could go. She had a carload of teenagers!

Here's the whole group once we met up.

And a close up of the kids.We wore our VBS shirts so it would be easy to find each other.

It was a HOT day and unfortunately everyone else must have thought it was a great day to go because it was PACKED! I've never seen it that crowded. Here we are getting onto our first ride after about an hour in line.

Then we headed straight for the water park since it was so warm.

We did the wave pool and lazy river and went on one big ride which was another long wait in line. Then we changed and decided to get out of the chaos and back to the ride side of the park. Noni grabbed this picture and you can see the crazy crowds.

Carousel.

They rode every ride in kiddie land multiple times. Thankfully that wasn't terribly crowded.

For snack we had giant ice creams. I told them to remind me that next year everyone is sharing! They didn't even make it through half of these and I felt bad throwing so much in the trash.

Daddy took Peanut off to ride roller coasters while Noni and I stayed with the little ones. Here they are waiting in line.

Helicopters.

Airplanes.

 Froggy ride again.

They met back up with us and Noni took Peanut on the kiddie coaster.

 Train.

We closed down the park and then jumped into the cars for the ride home. It was a busy, hot, FUN day!! Thanks for taking the carload of teenagers Noni!
