Peanut's Re-birthday!

Weeks ago, still during quarantine we had Peanut's re-birthday. She requested french toast for breakfast.  

Since we couldn't go anywhere for lunch Daddy brought home Subway at her request. 

She really wanted to have a picnic but it was raining so we had a indoor picnic. 

We got her a new Odyssey set.

Peaches really wanted to take a picture...pretty good. 

And then a selfie. Haha.

Bug made her cupcakes. 

Which Lou later drug her chair over to get, unbeknownst to me. :P

So proud of herself! 

Hopefully she and Peaches won't be too far behind and we'll soon be celebrating their re-birthday's too!

Butterflies!

We were blessed with a cup of caterpillars a few weeks ago! A gal we know has a brother who works with butterflies and sells them to zoo's and things. Because of Coronavirus he had a bunch of extras and gave his sister some and she sweetly thought of us! 

 

 

The girls had fun watching the caterpillars grow over the course of a week or so. It's always amazing to me how quickly they go from just a tiny little wiggle, to a big fat caterpillar!

Lou loved to watch them too, but I had to pin her hands to her sides whenever I let her look at them. Otherwise she would attempt to swipe the cup off the counter. :(

She was so excited about them that I was surprised how she reacted when she finally got to hold one. 

I think she didn't like it gripping onto her finger. 

 

She yelled at it quite angrily. Haha.

Peaches had no such qualms. She was so happy!

 

Love this one.

And of course the big girls loved them too! 

So much fun! We'll have to get some again next year!

A Race!

The other day Noni invited us to her virtual 5K race! We met at Miss L's house and walked around the lake nearby. The extra fun part was the same day Aunt Karen, Uncle Sean, and Auntie Jen were in Texas doing the same thing! They do these races all the time, but this was my first one. Noni gave each of the girls racing numbers. They were so proud.

  

The little ones had a free ride. Haha.

  

I was only able to fit Boo and Peanut's bikes in the car with the big double stroller, but Bug was happy to walk. We ended up beating the TX team by 17 minutes...probably because we had to walk pretty fast to keep up with the bikes. Haha.

 

Lou kept taking off her socks and shoes and throwing them overboard. :P

  

 We stopped to get a picture between the lilacs for Auntie Karen.

 

 

Noni had to wear her mask which is not easy to do while exercising!

At the halfway point we saw a turkey wandering through the park! Peanut and Boo also saw squirrels, chipmunks, and lots of birds. They were scared away by the time we reached them. 

It was a beautiful day for a walk! Nice and cool but not cold.

 Peaches actually walked (and ran) quite a bit, over half I would say.

 

When you do these races they mail you a medal. :)

 

What a fun morning! I hope we can do it again soon!

Leftover Thursday

This masterpiece by Lou shall be entitled, "While Mommy Vacuums". 

 

Unfortunately that was a Sharpie so after cleaning I could only get it dulled to a soft lavender. :P

 

Breakfast of champions: "nana" and eggs in yogurt (the only way she'll eat them).

Somebody has discovered her "Beebo!"

And just like the hippos she likes to show it off. Haha.

She also loves to find everyone else's beebos. Haha. 

Bug's friend A designed this mug and had it mailed to her for her birthday! So sweet!

Dressing up for fun. She sure is getting grown up!

Peanut is always creating things out of cardboard boxes...like this "dress". Lol.
