The main reason we went to the farm this past weekend was to celebrate our nephew, Waylon’s 3rd birthday! He had a monster truck party!

Chili cheese dogs and fries! Each of the kids got a monster truck water bottle.

Happy Birthday to you!

I should have gotten a good picture of the monster truck cake before it got eaten…

Boo Bear got part of a wheel, and wanted to show me her black tongue. :)

Present time!

Our family was very excited for Waylon to open our gift because T has been working on these since last August!

Yes…7 months!

He saw the patterns for these in one of his woodworking magazines, and the minute he did, he said, “I have GOT to make these for Waylon!”

Here are the pictures I took before I wrapped them…
Dump truck.

Complete with a tipping bed, and opening tailgate.

Papa showed T how to make his own rub-ons with a ink jet printer and wax paper so T designed Waylon his own “company” logo over Thanksgiving. I thought it turned out great! It even says Est. 2010, his birth year.

Semi-truck. T did everything but the wheels. He even turned the gas tanks on a lathe.

Pulling a low-boy trailer and excavator.

This one was my favorite. I loved the way the arm, and the bucket moves.

This one is T’s favorite. Bulldozer!

It does look pretty tough.

I was SO impressed with what a great job he did! They turned out so well, and he had such a good time making them! They took forever, but he really enjoyed the work.

Happy Birthday Waylon! Hope you have fun with your new toys!
