Legoland! - Part 2

There were so many amazing Lego creations all over the park! I couldn't take pictures of ALL of them, but this was one of my favorites...a burst fire hydrant!

They had several of these buildings where you could just go build things with Legos. We tried to steer the girls away from most of them since there was so many other things to do but we did let them stay in here a while because when they were done building there was a huge globe where they were able to add their creation!

Lou finished quickly and was the first to add hers.

A pirate came out for pictures just outside that place so we snuck out to grab a shot with some of the girls.

There was a lady in there who had a game the kids could play for a prize. Noni helped each of them get something.

They had fun picking a spot for their creation.

Daddy has been needing a new picture for his phone so we grabbed one in here where the sun wasn't shining in everyone's eyes. :)

We were right next to a cafeteria-style restaurant so we decided to go ahead and get some lunch.

Then it was over to "Driving School"!

These little cars were so cute!

Peanut was young enough for this ride, but the big girls were too old.

Lou and I went to Mini-Driving School. The song right before her turn was Highway to the Danger Zone and it cracked me up.

She got Mustang Sally

 Got her driver's license! :)

Peanut and the Lego Friends!

Stay tuned for more!

Legoland! - Part 1

Our first day of Legoland we decided to go ahead and start celebrating the birthdays! Since we let the birthday girl pick the meals for the day we told Peaches she could pick for Thursday and Boo could pick for Friday. We had found this little donut shop close to our Airbnb the first morning and she liked it so much she wanted to go back Thursday and get a donut, "All to myself!"

Neither day at Legoland was horribly crowded but Thursday was especially good. We hardly had to wait in line at all to get in!

Right away we started seeing fun Lego creations!

E for E!

They had all these adorable Lego people around the park and you could get your picture taken with them.

This was at the beginning and all the girls wanted a picture with the lion. I missed Peanut somehow.

Up until this point I had done a pretty good job of not taking a million pictures, but this first day at Legoland I went a little crazy. Haha.

One of the workers noticed Peaches shirt said, "Birthday girl!" so he gave her a cool button that said, "It's my birthday!" and we got one for Boo too.

This was the first ride we tried. It was a little car ride safari. They had a complete zoo of lifesize Lego animals!

Lou and I rode it again while the rest went across the path to ride the Dino Roller coaster, and I noticed several animals I had missed the first time because there were so many!

I think this was E's first bigger roller coaster!

Lou and I headed to the carousel after we got done. She loved it!

She wanted to go multiple times.

They had several of these cute photo ops in the park.

Too many trips around the carousel makes me nauseous, haha, so Noni took the girls again.

The big girls went on UniKitty's Disco Drop!

More pictures tomorrow!

Airbnb

Our first two nights we stayed at a great Airbnb that was only a block away from the beach.

The second night the girls got a BIG surprise! Aunt Karen!!!!! She flew in to join us at Legoland! They were SOOO excited!!!

And somehow I must have clicked pause after starting the video to get their reaction because this is all I got of it. A tiny snippet of their excitement. :P

Noni and Aunt Karen got one of the rooms, T and I got the other - the one that had this loft bed in it for Lou.

And the other girls got this double bunk room. It was very comfortable and we enjoyed staying there!

We went in to go sleep the second night and Lou had made her blanket perfectly smooth and was sleeping on top of it. She woke up crying both nights but went back to sleep pretty quickly. I was thankful we didn't have to bring her "crib". Even though she hasn't slept in a real crib for a year now she still likes her pack n' play when we are on trips. She did just fine without it this time so maybe we are over that phase!

Legoland pictures up next!

Funny Friday

This is not technically a funny...it came on a package of socks Boo bought. Peanut said, "Mommy? Isn't that Darth Vadar?" To which I replied yes. She looked confused and said, "Why does he have Puss and Boots eyes?" Haha!

Happy Friday! :)
