Soccer Practice

The other day during soccer practice the little ones were being so funny I had to take some pictures! When they practice at the baseball fields I just take the little ones over to an empty field and they run their hearts out.

This day Daddy came over and joined us after getting off work and Peanut thought it was hilarious to try to keep the ball from him.  It wasn't working out too well for her so she started just laying on it to try to keep it.

But Daddy prevails!

Apparently Peaches just thought they were doing pushups? :)

Then she wanted in and tried to take the ball for herself.

Peanut grabbed it back and laid on it again so then it was a full blown tackle!

Funny girls!

This is what I call Daddy getting them all riled up! When they get like this they are crazy!

They finally settled down and decided to share it.

That's better.

So sweet.

The girls all love the other ones' practices when they get to just play an have fun. It's good for expending some energy too! Buggy's practice was getting over so we headed back to their field and Peanut found one of her friends. :)

You can see by the shorts that we've been having some AMAZING weather around here! Even up to the 80's! SOOO nice! Unfortunately we've dipped back down in the last few days, but 70's are promised in the forecast! I'm SO ready for summer!

*Sigh*

Peaches has started doing this adorable chin in her hands move when she is bored of waiting. I often put her in her high chair while I'm getting dinner on the table. I guess this particular day she was tired of waiting for her sisters to come to the table. SO cute!

And then she noticed me taking pictures of her so I got some smiles. :)

Cutie pie.

Leftover Thursday

Peanut was helping Daddy make banana bread and I heard, "Oh man! Clean up on Aisle 12!" Apparently she had knocked a box of open baking soda from the top cupboard and it rained down on everything...including the dog.

The girls have been into Boggle lately. I found this picture on my phone one day. :P

I couldn't believe this...this huge box was full of nothing but packing paper and four little pouches of mashed potatoes. :P

The church deaconesses got some cakes one Sunday to celebrate T's achieving his MBA with a 4.0!

And two families gave him a present of Oreos...six packages! I didn't realize this but I guess he has made more than one person notice his love of Oreos at potlucks. Haha!

We are babysitting this giraffe for our missionary friends in Russia. I went in to Peanut's room to tuck her in one night and found giraffe, elephant, and Cocoa having a tea party. :)

Happy Thursday! :)

"Thursday"

Papa has a new baby. Betsy had triplets. One didn't make it, one - Tulip was healthy and strong, and one - Thursday was super small and not strong enough to stand up so Papa had to bring him into the house. We happened to be over when he was born, on a Thursday so the girls got to see him. He is the smallest lamb I've ever seen! So tiny and cute!

Peaches loved him!

Papa got some milk into him and pretty soon he was trying to stand up.

After a couple hours he made it. You can see how tiny he is here. Bandit is not a big dog, but she looks big compared to him!

I thought he looked like he was all legs!

By the time he was strong enough to stand Betsy didn't want him anymore so Papa has a bottle baby. The girls definitely don't mind!

Soccer Saturday

The girls were so excited for their first soccer games! Peanut is playing this year so we've got three girls to root for!

Unfortunately for me (not a morning person!) Boo's game was at 9 so we had to leave the house at 7:45. Peaches is definitely on my side. When Daddy went in and woke her up to leave she was not happy. She shuffled into the bathroom with her shoulders drooping. So funny.

Thankfully it wasn't as cold as the first game last year, but it was still cold! I was wearing two pairs of pants, two long sleeved shirts, a coat, my Sorrel boots, and I had hand warmers and I was STILL cold! The kids didn't seem to mind the cold.

Boo did great! She tried offense, defense, and blocked a bunch of goals as goalie!

Peanut's game was right after Boo's so we just packed up and switched fields. She did awesome for her first game ever!

She also played goalie and stopped quite a few goals. We just have to make sure she's standing outside the goal...she blocked a ball but was standing IN the goal so it still counted. Haha!

Noni and Papa were a huge help and kept Peaches warm in their car for parts of those two games since it was sprinkling on and off. We all had lunch together and then they took Peanut and Peaches home with them so Peaches could get a nap. SO nice because we let her miss a nap the other day and she pretty much cried and fussed from 5 o'clock till we put her to bed early at 7:30!

Buggy's games are all on a completely opposite side of town...30ish minutes away. Thankfully with the game times we were able to have lunch and have plenty of time to get there but there are a couple weekends where we're going to have to take two cars and miss one girl's game to see another.

Buggy played goalie for a half and stopped every ball that came at her! Go Buggy go!

Sometimes there's not much to do while waiting for the game to start. Haha.

I'd say we had a successful first day! It was cold, windy, and rained off and on all day, but it definitely could have been worse and the girls played hard and best of all had FUN!

"Cartwheels"

Peaches wants to do everything her big sisters do! They've been a bit obsessed with cartwheels lately and she is not to be left out!

Leftover Thursday

Peanut likes to make Peaches these little spots. She gets pillows, blankets, books, stuffed animals, sometimes her water, and sets her up like a little queen. So funny.

Here's another one.

Buggy has an awesome teacher! Every month she sends a "brag tag" if Bug has met or gone beyond expectations. I think Bug has gotten all the ones available so far!

The girls have started an "exercise club" and they exercise together for fun.

I laughed when I saw Peaches' undies sticking up in the air. She wasn't wearing pants because she'd had an accident. :/

Last visit with out Arkansas friends.

We were sad to see them go, but thankful for the time we had together!

A Thursday morning. Daddy always has a call that he takes at home so he can hang out a little longer. Peaches eating a sucker for going poopy. :)

I fixed Peaches' hair a new way. Peanut came in, "Mommy? Why does she look like a unicorn??"

:)
