Making Dinner

Making dinner is not so easy these days. If I use up my contented Lou time (when she is ok to not be carried) working on the house then I have to hold her (or listen to her scream) while cooking.

Peaches is also in a very needing-Mommy phase right now. If I'm not holding Lou she wants to be held. If I am holding Lou this is what she does...

Not exactly conducive for trying to get around the kitchen. :P

On days when Lou will let me put her down she usually manages to wheel over to me and grabs hold.

Lol. This is one of those things I need to cherish because I will miss it in a few years right?! Haha.

Leftover Thursday

Lou wants to be in her crib with her bunny when she's ready for a nap, but Bug got her to sleep one while holding her in Sunday School one day (while I practiced with the worship team).

Speaking of sleep...when you're so tired but refuse to do anything but be with Mommy. She actually fell asleep right after this.

This girl loves baths!

Peanut made bread in a bag almost entirely by herself! She did quite a bit of baking while her big sisters were gone!

Bug made Texas sheet cake for the neighborhood BBQ.

When Mama was over one day we were playing cards and Lou stole her cane.

Haha.

Happy Thursday! :)

Texas! - Part 2

Uncle S and Aunt J's house was a huge hit because they have a fun pool!

This pic looked like Boo had fishnet stockings on. Haha.

Aunt J's phone can take underwater pictures!

She got some great pictures of the girls having fun!

They swam for hours and hours and also did some fun shopping! This was at Sam Moon's.

Uncle S wanted to buy some fish because one of his fish died so he bought two more.

They also got to visit Buc ee's.

I've never been there, but I guess it's pretty amazing! They said it had tons of stuff! They bought us all so many souvenirs it was like Christmas when they got home!

Both girls learned how to dive!

And they played horse.

Uncle S won.

And one of the big highlights was that they got to watch Finding Dory on the projector one night!

We missed our big girls, but I'm so glad they got to go have so many fun experiences! Thank you to everyone who helped make their trip a blast!

P.S. You probably noticed the wrist brace on Boo in all these pictures. The very first night of their trip she sleep-fell off the top bunk and landed on her wrist. It didn't swell up, and the camp nurse and her ER doctor husband didn't think it was broken.

It was still hurting when she got home ten days later so we took her in for x-rays. Nothing was broken, her doctor just said it was a really bad sprain. After another week in a more rigid splint she finally started working it out and it started feeling better.

I felt bad for her since I know it limited her fun while at day camp and swimming on the trip. But we're very thankful it wasn't broken! No more falling off of bunk beds Boo! :P

Texas! - Part 1

Bug and Boo were so excited to go to Texas with Noni!  Their plane left at 6am so we said goodnight to them the night before and Papa took them to the airport that morning. We woke up to a picture...looking pretty good for 5am!

They said neither of them slept on the plane so I wasn't surprised to get this picture once Aunt Karen picked them up and they got on the road to camp. :)

Aunt Karen always does SO much work to get the cabin looking nice and being super clean before we all get there! Both girls chose a top bunk.

Cousin M wanted to take a picture with the girls. :)

One day it was cold so they brought a blanket to breakfast. Boo's favorite thing at breakfast is the donuts, Bug's favorites are the bacon and donuts. I think it's a crime not to eat the biscuits and gravy! :P

They wrapped themselves up in a bundle on the way back.

They went to True Value and said that Noni saw this fun chair swing and wanted to get it.

They said went up on Fat Man's a couple of times.

This is Boo's friend A. She is the nurse's granddaughter.

They were in the same day camp group. Boo's day camp group had yellow bandanas and they were the Bananas. Bug had blue bandanas and they were the Blue Tsunami.

Bug didn't know anyone in her day camp group, but she had fun.

They left a day early so that they would have time to go visit Pawpaw and Nana and then go on to Uncle S and Aunt J's house.

They had a five hour trip to Aunt Karen's, and then another five hours to the Dallas area. Thankfully they are good car travelers.

More pictures tomorrow!
