Boo got to go on a little field trip with her STEM class. They built things to keep an egg from breaking when dropped from a high spot and then they went to one of the local grain tanks where a worker dropped their contraptions from the top to see if they broke.

Friends and Games
T took the big girls to a minor league baseball game the other day. It was one of those group things that Bug and Boo's school offered so the girls were happy to be able to sit with their friends! T said Peanut was having more fun than this picture suggests, haha.

Leftover Thursday
Lou made a bunch of cute puppets and taped them to pencils to tell a story. I thought she did a great job!

Engaged!
A few months ago F asked T and I out to lunch and asked for Bug's hand and our blessing! He told us he was going to wait until sometime after she was graduated but I think he was eager to get the show on the road because he picked the day after to propose!
Boo and Peanut knew that it was the night, and Bug was pretty sure it was too. He asked her to dress up and told her he wanted to take her on a picnic. :)
We put the little ones to bed at 8:30 and then lit our first fire in the "new" fire pit...I should explain. This "fire pit" is actually a piece of a huge, heavy container that was in the basement when we first moved in. I believe it held propane or oil (?) to heat the house in the old days. It was so large that Grandpa and T had to cut it into three pieces to get it out of the basement and once they got it into the light of day T said, "That would be a cool fire pit", so it's been sitting outside waiting for it's chance to shine for 9 years! I love it!
Ta da!

Parade
We actually had a free Saturday morning the other day so we decided to take the little ones over to a local parade. Peanut and Bug decided to come too. When we got there we found some friends and stood with them. The girls were excited to see A the Princess of our town coming through on her float.
