Presents, Panda, and Cake

After ice skating we headed back to Noni and Papa’s house.  As soon as she walked in Boo said, very serious, “Hi Mama.  I’m free now.”

First order of business when you’re “free” - presents!

Buggy had picked out this Rapunzel Playdoh set at Target and was very excited about giving it to Boo.

abday14

Money from JerryVonnie (the girls still say their names like this…K’s baby pronunciation).  I said, “You get to go pick something out at the store!  What do you want to get?” and she replied, “Money!”  Haha :)

abday15

A fancy dress from her cousins…she LOVES to wear fancy dresses.  She wears a dress almost every day of the week and the fluffier and sparkly-er the better!

abday16

Any of these got my name on em?

abday17

Boo got a fun book with a cd from the Florida family.

abday18

Noni and Papa gave her an ice cream Playdoh set with extra Playdoh (one of their favorite things to do right now).  They also gave her a neat Bible floor puzzle.

abday19

Showin’ off her card from Pawpaw and Nana that has her picture on it. :)

abday21

abday20

Pawpaw and Nana got her an adorable purple sweater and jeans with purple sparkly butterflies.  She loves them!

abday23

Aunt Karen gave her some books, stickers, and art supplies. She knows her well!  She had to read them as soon as she opened them!

abday24

Our present to her was a princess scooter!  We figured it’d be great for this summer when Buggy is riding her bike around.

abday25

abday26

Cousin Ricki made the girls these adorable purple hats!  So cute.

abday27

T had stopped and picked up Panda Express on the way since that’s what Boo said she wanted (how many three year olds request that for their birthday dinner?? She loves the fried rice but the only meat she likes is the Honey Walnut Shrimp…my favorite!).  We ate dinner and then it was time for one last Happy Birthday song!

abday28

Make a wish!

abday12

It’s obvious she’s not ready to give up her nap yet!  She was so tired and getting very crabby by the time we left.  Not surprisingly she passed out pretty quickly on the way home.

abday13

A tuckered, partied-out, big, little, three year old. :)

We can’t wait to see what three brings!

Birthday Surprise

On Saturday the girls helped me make Boo’s birthday cake.  They were very excited about decorating it.  I used the leftover frosting from the towers to make green vines and Rapunzel hair.  They decorated with flower sprinkles.

When Boo woke up on Sunday morning we sang Happy Birthday to her and Buggy gave her a sweet card she’d made the day before.

abday2

Coffee cake muffins with Princess wand candles. :)

3!

abday4

Both the girls had colds and they both had low grade temperatures on Sunday morning so I figured I’d better keep them home from church.  T went and then came a picked us up afterwards so we could head to town.

Thankfully Noni and Papa were able to take Peanut so we could give Boo a birthday surprise.

First we met Grandma and Grandpa at our favorite little pizza place.  Boo ate more breadsticks than pizza…I think she ate 4!  They do have amazing breadsticks!

Then it was time for the surprise…

Not exactly the reaction I was hoping for!  Haha :)  Actually, right after I turned off the video she said, “Yay! I’m so exciting!”

Ever since Disney on Ice they have been giving us ice skating shows so we thought this would be a big hit!  Lace up!

abday5

Ready to skate!

abday6

Turns out it was a little premature!  Bug did great and I think she would have gotten good enough to go on her own if we’d been able to stay longer.  Boo on the other hand had to be completely supported the whole time.  I think I made it around the rink three times, bent over, holding her under both her arms before my back gave out!  T and I took turns with each of them.

abday7

Boo had a long break in the middle.  Thankfully Grandma and Grandpa were there to sit with her.  After we watched the Zamboni clean the ice she was ready to go again.

abday8

Daddy’s turn!  She just could not keep her legs straight.

abday10

By the time we had to leave Buggy was doing pretty good!

abday11

Oh well…maybe next year!

abday9

We had to walk through the park to get back to the car.  The snow is almost all melted in town…kind of funny since we have over a foot still at our house!

abday29

“Did you have fun?”

“Not weally.”  Well, at least she’s honest! :P

One more birthday post tomorrow!

Party Time!

For months Boo has been asking if she could have two specific friends go jump on the inflateables with her on her birthday.  She had never had a friend party before so we were happy to comply.  She chose Rapunzel as her theme.  Surprise surprise. :)

birthday1

We got there and the girls started jumping and sliding right away!

birthday2

The two friends that she wanted also happen to have sisters so it was perfect.  Three little sisters, three big sisters!

Here comes Boo!

Yay!

birthday6

So happy!

birthday8

Me and my birthday girl. :)

birthday9

Time out to eat!

birthday10

She wanted a Rapunzel tower cake.  I had no idea how I was going to manage that…one, just making it and two, transporting it.  This was my solution.  Thank you, Pintrest!

Happy birthday to you…

birthday13

Silly girls!

birthday14

And their silly big sisters!

birthday15

Peanut was kind of tired and crabby…I swear she’s going to get a tooth any day now!  She did have some happy moments though.

birthday16

Time for presents!

birthday17

Buggy picked out a new Tag Reader book.  She was so excited to give it to Boo.  That girl LOVES to give gifts!

Grandma gave Boo these adorable purple sparkly slippers.

And she MADE an AMAZING Rapunzel dress!

birthday22

Of course Boo had to put it on right away!  Isn’t it gorgeous?!?

birthday24

So proud!

birthday25

Thank you Grandma!

birthday27

Happy girl!

birthday26

A cute little dog in a carrying case!  Perfect.  She loves puppies.

birthday23

Then it was time to get in some more bouncing.  There was a little boy on this one who was running back and forth to all these kids saying, “One person at a time on this one!  Only one person at a time!”  Haha :) So funny to see the different personalities in kids.

birthday28

birthday29

What a fun party!  Thanks for coming girls!
