Squiggly Worm

Sometimes I think it’s a shame that Boo is not an only child, because she is just so darn cute that I wish I had more time to spend with her one on one.

At least twice a day I think to myself, could she be any cuter??  She makes me laugh ALL the time.  Love her to pieces.

iPhone Pictures

I was cleaning up my pictures the other day and realized there were quite a few on there that I’d never posted, so I figured I’d put a few up for fun.

Peanut is only a few weeks old here.  So sweet.

She didn’t last very long. :)

I put just one of these up.  I have literally dozens and dozens of these pictures in my phone album at all times.  I’m constantly deleting them.  We have a coloring app that allows you to save and Bug knows how to do it.  Consequently I find a steady stream of pictures like this…

Bug and Peanut, this one is only a few weeks old.

What happens when a five year old puts on 23 pairs of socks?  Whining and crying, “Ouch!  My feet hurt, my feet hurt!”  Well, I wonder why. :P And yes, I counted them as I peeled them off.

Why use a baby carrier when you can just zip the baby into your coat? :) Yummy zipper!

This is from last Thursday…Peanut is finally starting to get interested in toys!

And this one was from last Wednesday.  The girls had spent the night and I was planning to let them stay for naps while I did errands, but we had a big storm coming in and T said there was already a couple of inches of new snow at home, so mom met me at 2 and we made our way home.  They must have had a ball at Noni’s because this is what Boo looked like not 5 miles down the road. :)

Funny girls. :)

One Of These Things Is Just Like The Others!

I keep catching sight of baby pictures of Bug and Boo that make me do double takes!  It takes me a second to figure out which kid is which!

When Peanut was born I thought she looked JUST like Boo did as a newborn, but now as she’s growing and changing she is looking an awful lot like Bug!  I went back through old blog posts and grabbed some of the pictures that look especially similar.

This is Bug and Boo on the day Boo turned 3 months.  She looks SO MUCH like Peanut! Or vice versa I guess. :)

Peanut was wearing the same outfit the other day so I had to grab some pictures.

Again Boo.  They look more similar when Boo was wearing a hat because she had more hair.

Peanut was just wearing these jammies…they were Boo’s, as evidenced here.

But Peanut looks an awful lot like Buggy too!  Buggy was 7 months here.

Look how similar their smiles are!

It’s funny how much she resembles both of them when they look SO different now!  Sometimes I wonder how they can be sisters, but I just have to look at these baby pictures to see how alike they really are!

It’s so fun to watch Peanut grow, and I’m excited to see how she changes as she gets bigger!

Bedtime

Things change so quickly with kids, and while I’m pretty good at documenting the big stuff I don’t want to forget the little routine things either.  I got these pictures over a month ago, and never posted them…and our bedtime routine has actually changed a lot since then!

This was our routine for over six months…around 7:45 one of us would say, “Ok, girls, time for the three ‘P’s!” and they would go scampering upstairs to get Pull ups (1) Pjs (2) and go to the bathroom (3).  Buggy can do this all by herself, but Boo would bring the pull up and pjs to us so we could help her go to the bathroom and get them on.

Then it was time to head back upstairs.

bedtime

Everyone into our sardine can bathroom to brush teeth!

bedtime1

We let them have a turn first and then we “finish” up for them.

bedtime2

Peanut, Bug, and Daddy would head to Bug’s room where Peanut would sit in Bug’s chair while they read a Box Car Children book.

bedtime4

bedtime3

Boo and I would head to her room where we would read 3 books together.  Usually at some point there was yelling down the hall, “Should I read another book/chapter or are you almost done?”

bedtime5

Then everyone would come to Boo’s room and Daddy would say, “Hands in the pot!” and we all piled our hands together to say bedtime prayers.

bedtime6

I would sing Boo a song, say goodnight, and then head to Bug’s room, where Daddy and Peanut had been telling her goodnight.

Then it was Buggy’s turn for a song, while Daddy and Peanut said a last goodnight to Boo.

bedtime8

Inevitably, every single night someone needs a refill on their water…which is probably the reason they both still need Pullups. :P

bedtime7

And Boo always needs one last goodnight before we head downstairs.

bedtime9

So that used to be our routine…I wanted to write it all down before I forgot!

Now, since Peanut switched to four hours, she is always eating during the bedtime routine so Daddy and girls do jammies and books without me, while I feed her.

Then, between sides, I do the goodnights/songs, while Daddy gets Peanut in her pjs.

I come back down, finish feeding her, and we put her to bed.  All three girls are almost always in bed, lights out by 8:30 and T and I finally get some down time…which we usually spend watching Netflix or reading.  We are party animals.  Haha! :)

Rudolph The No Ears Reindeer

The girls big dance recital was last night.  It was…amusing. :)

Poor Boo Bear.  Their whole part of the show was 2 minutes long and for 1:58 seconds of that she was trying to get her ears back on.  So funny.

Bug tried to help her briefly, but the show must go on!

We had them do the dance for us when we got home, and she did much better without the ears.

Oh well, I guess we’ll get to see Boo perform at the end of the year show.  Haha :)  At least Buggy did great!
