Kittens!

 We got new kitties!

We weren't planning to get them, but we are pretty sure Cottonball died and we haven't seen Pumpkin in months. :( When we inadvertently caught four mice (in Jax's water) in the garage, and caught one in a sticky trap we decided we needed to get some new barn cats.

Our friends had some kitties up for grabs and brought two over one day after church. The girls were SO excited!

They're supposed to be outside cats, but they spend an awful lot of time inside. :P

They are both super sweet and just go limp when the girls carry them around.

They also just stay wherever the girls put them. They call this the "standing cat". The expression on the boy's face cracked me up. He looks like he's telling his sister. "Just don't move. We'll get out of this somehow." Haha!

They named the girl Piglet.

And the boy Tigger.

Puss and Boots eyes!

They are so chill. They didn't even care when the girls gave them a bath!

Queso is not too sure what to think. The first day they were here he threw up twice! Apparently he was upset?

T and I are still not big cat fans, but they are pretty darn cute as kittens!

Jog-A-Thon!

We had our best jog-a-thon ever weather wise! I can't remember ever NOT being freezing during jog-a-thon but this year it was 75 and gorgeous! We have been having the BEST Fall! The weather has been amazing. I don't want it to end!

Peaches forgot her vest...she is in a very distracted/forgetful/daydreamer stage at the moment. :P

We had a beautiful sunset to walk to!

I only got pictures of Boo's back because she kept up a pretty steady pace. :)

We are so thankful to have Noni back at AWANA this year!

We raised a lot of money for scholarships and had fun! That's a win!

Leftover Thursday

Lou found this laptop and wanted to do school like sisters. :)

We met up with a couple other families at church one night to empty everything so the carpets could get cleaned.

The girls worked hard...it was more fun since their friends were there. :)

Big helpers!

We have a lot of stuff in the church! But we took care of it pretty quickly.

Happy Thursday! :)

Volleyball!

Buggy is doing a great job on her volleyball team this year! They are still a young team, but doing much better than last year.

It seems like most of the teams have one or two really tall girls that are wicked spikers!

Bug plays a forward position...I don't know if it has a name. She and the two seniors can really get in there and make a lot of good plays when they are together.

Peanut and I took a little road trip to one of the away games. This is the school with the interesting plastic tiles for the floor.

Bug jammed two of her fingers at the beginning of the season so she's been trying to keep them out of harms way...not an easy task. She is getting great at underhand serving.

Peanut wanted a selfie. :)

The little ones love to run around and play between games when we are at "home". Lou thought it was great when Daddy stuck her on top of the lockers. :)

Ready to play!

We don't usually eat at the school but one night the game didn't start until 6 and we had to have Bug there at 5 so we figured we would just let everyone get hot dogs or pizza from the concession stand. We didn't even think about the fact that there might not be concessions since it was a Saturday game! We ate all the emergency snacks out of the car and then made egg sandwiches quickly when we got home at nearly 9pm! Whoops.

Go team!

Park

The girls school had a back to school event where all the kids in our area met at a local park. One of Boo's teachers is local so she was able to see her. The rest of the girls just enjoyed the cool playground!

This is a new one we had never been to before. They loved it!

Noni came with us so they had even more fun!

Peaches was a little hesitant with this part but Lou scrambled to the top without looking back.

Such a neat playground!

We stayed for about two hours.

And then walked back through the park. The river was so pretty!

We let them do one round on the carousel before leaving. Noni went with Lou.

Such a fun day! Thanks for coming with us Noni and helping me keep an eye on these little monkeys!
