Happy Birthday Kenzie!

We got to go to Kenzie's birthday party this year! The girls were so exited! The party was up at the ranch where Kenzi's Uncle, on her Daddy's side, is the ranch manager. This is actually the "horse barn". It has gorgeous stables attached to this great room. It used to have offices in it, but has now been converted to a guest house. There's also a full apartment upstairs. When we finally arrived the girls ran upstairs to play with all the kids. We called them back down to eat some lunch.

The birthday girl and her beautiful Mommy!

Happy Birthday to you...

I missed this part since I was upstairs feeding the baby, but I guess the birthday girl didn't want to blow out her candles. :)

Big brother came to the rescue!

Auntie Nae made an adorable polka dot cake! So cute!

Yummy frosting!

Present time!

It was fun watching her open the presents. She's such a cutie!

Isn't this place amazing!?

Nicest horse barn I've ever been in! Ha!

Peaches liked Clancy the dog. :)

We had to go out and see all the horses before we left.

Such a neat place!

Thanks for letting us share in your birthday fun Kenzie!

Operation Christmas Child

We kicked off the holiday season with one of our favorite things...Operation Christmas Child boxes! One Saturday we went shopping for all our goodies, and then brought them home and dumped them on the floor.

We always have so much fun trying to fit as much as we can into these little boxes!

I'm always amazed at how much can actually fit in there!

Daddy helped Peanut and Peaches pack their boxes. :)

Boo commandeered the camera again.

Future photographer?

Time out for sister snuggles!

We love the Operation Christmas Child program! Not only does it show love to children around the world through these gifts, it also teaches them about the greatest gift of all...salvation through Jesus Christ. After they deliver the boxes to an area they have discipleship classes to teach the children about Jesus and what He has done for them. The stories are so moving of how lives are being changed by Jesus and The Greatest Journey. We watch one video each week in church leading up to this and each one tells another amazing story of the impact. Here is a link if you want to check out a video or two!

We prayed over our boxes and packed them into the car to head to church the next morning. From there they will head to...Africa? Asia? South America? Wherever they end up we pray they will bless the little children who receive them!

P.S. Happy Birthday Aunt Karen!!!

Toothy Thursday

When Peanut was a baby Daddy had Bug convinced that in order for Peanut to get a tooth, Bug had to lose one because for some reason every time Bug would lose a tooth, Peanut would get one.

History seems to be repeating itself because once again Bug is losing teeth and the baby is getting them! She lost a molar a couple of months ago, and now she lost a side tooth!

Peaches on the other hand gained two more top teeth...

And then a few days the the fourth top tooth!

She's up to 6 now! She cut 5 of those with hardly a whimper, but for some reason the 6th one was more painful. Grandma and Grandpa were over that day and she was uncharacteristically fussy. She cried off and on, and whimpered through her nursing sessions. She wailed in her bed when I tried to put her down for a nap and only fell asleep when I gave her some teething tablets. The next morning we found the little tooth.

6 down, 14 more to go. :P

Crawling Baby!!!

She was SO close to crawling last week when we were at Noni and Papa's. I'd say she did make a first crawl/step, but only one. The next day Noni and Boo had nursery and after church Boo came running up to us, "She crawled!!! She crawled!!!" We missed it! But thankfully Noni got in on video!  Mobile baby!

Turkey Bingo

The other day it was Turkey Bingo time! We invited Noni and Papa to come and we had a blast! Last year we took the girls for about 2.5 hours and didn't get any bingos. This year we got three! Daddy got two and Papa helped Peanut get one!

She was SO excited!

So fun!

Peaches kept looking up at Papa when he was holding her...so sweet!

Boo was our big winner with one of the paddles. You buy them for $2 and then they spin a wheel. If it lands on your number you get a prize. She got the full turkey dinner! Go Boo!

Daddy and Noni both bought the girls more paddles but they didn't win again. Peanut thought they were the most fun and loved holding it up with they called out, "Red paddles!"

She got tired of playing Bingo pretty quickly. After she finished her hot dog from the concession stand she grabbed my phone. I told her she couldn't play on it and she replied, "I just want to check the weather." Haha :) I looked over a minute later to find her taking selfies. This is one of the only non-blurry ones.

"Take a pit-ture with me Ma-ma!"

We stayed for about three hours before calling it quits. Papa had to go home (we had walked) and get the car to transport all our goods! Between the 8 of us (counting Peaches:) we won three turkeys, two hams, three 10lb bags of potatoes, and a pie!!!

Whoo hoo! What a fun night!
