Happy Friday! :)
I looked over one day and saw that Boo had put Bug's mermaid tail on upside down. Lol!
I don't realize how big Jax has gotten because he's always outside. One day he snuck in and I was shocked to see that he didn't even have to strain to get something right off the table!
Lou has started initiating hugs in the morning and before bed. SO sweet!
But she's not a very good helper when they are trying to do school. Haha.
For some reason our tomatoes went nuts! Everything else was just ok, but we have had tomatoes coming out our ears! I gave four bags to the neighbor, made a huge batch of spaghetti sauce, and diced and froze a bunch for soups, and we still have tons!
Lou likes to help pick them. :)
And eat them too!
Happy Thursday! :)
Warning: I wrote this before "the incident" and reading it now I realize everything I was worried about came true. :( I'll go ahead and leave it as written, but know that this story does not have a happy ending. :( I'll post about that later.
The girls have been having so much fun with the kittens! They had a couple accidents the first two days...one on our bed right after this picture was taken. :{
But after they figured out where their litter box was they didn't have any more accidents.
Lou LOVES them. The first few days were rough trying to keep her from loving them to death...literally. She was SO rough with them...picking them up by the neck, skin, or tail, and I think I said, "Gentle!" and "Two hands!" about a hundred time each, but she did learn quickly the proper way to hold them and has been so sweet...most of the time. :P
One of Grandma and Grandpa's cats had kittens! Sadly, she abandoned them so Grandma and Grandpa had to take care of them. They brought the runt to see us one day. It was SO tiny!
The girls wanted to keep it of course, but they figured it was only about three weeks old and I knew if we kept it, it wouldn't likely stay alive.
So they took it home with them again, and a month later when it was stable they brought him, and his brother back to live with us.
It always makes me laugh that their "barn" cats are these beautiful Siamese. They look like they should be show cats not barn cats! Look how cute!
The girls are smitten!
More kitten pictures tomorrow!
These girls just adore their Grandpa. He is always so much fun and takes the time to roughhouse and be silly with them. I guess we don't have to look far to see where Daddy gets it!
There is just pure joy on their faces when they play with Grandpa. :)
One of our UPS guys is afraid of Jax. I found this box set down just at the edge of his electronic fence. Haha.
Buggy is so grown up these days! She and Noni found this beautiful dress on their special day.
Peanut pooled her birthday money and bought a camera! She has been having SO much fun with it! It has light sensitive paper so you don't have to worry about running out of ink and it prints the pictures right out of it. She has been making a scrapbook with all her printed pictures. So sweet. :)
Lou was so happy when I gave her these hand-me-down froggy boots!
Bowl balancing. :P
Happy Thursday! :)
