We took Peaches and Lou to see a live Bluey show! First we went out to dinner...they picked Taco Bell, haha. I told them they could pick any restaurant they wanted and that was the winner! :P
They were super excited!
T kept the girls entertained until the show started. :)
And it was adorable! And kind of hilarious because they were giant puppets that required two people to move them. I was thinking wouldn't it be funny to answer the question "what do you do?" by saying, "I move Bluey's legs and tail." Haha. But they did a fabulous job and all the kids loved it!
I have no idea what they said for Lou to make this face. :P
The show was all about them hiding Dad's phone so that he would play with them.
At the end they had huge bubble machines and then these giant floppy rubber balls that the whole audience played "keepy uppy" with...that's a game they play in Bluey. Lou was sad because she hadn't gotten to touch it so right as the staff was coming to take them back T reached out and grabbed one that got close and Lou and Peaches got to hit it. They were very happy and loved the show!
We were kind of surprised that the show was only an hour but it ended up working out beautifully because it was downtown where our conference with the big girls was the next morning. I had seen that you could register early for the conference and thought if we had time we might as well...thank goodness we did because the next morning it allowed us to skip the longest line I have ever seen in my life!
Our friends had to wait in line for two and half hours just to get in and we bypassed it and had maybe three people in front of us when we went to get in because we were preregistered and already had our arm bands. So thank goodness for Bluey! She unknowingly saved the day!! :)
