The day after the wedding was a busy one! I took the big girls to school while the little ones started on their lessons. We worked all morning and then headed to town to meet up with Noni, Mama, Aunt K, Uncle S and Auntie J. We had lunch with them before they had to head to the airport. It's always hard to say goodbye, but we are so thankful for the time we had together!
Then the girls and I headed straight to church for our annual Homeschool Christmas party. I didn't help with it at all this year because of the wedding, but the other ladies had some fun crafts set up. At one table they got to make "snowball shooters" that launched cotton balls.
Then they got to make gingerbread houses out of graham crackers.
There was LOTS of frosting used and consumed, haha.
Lou rebuilt hers about five times, but finally gave up when it kept collapsing. :)
Peaches made a picture frame.
The kids ran around and played for a while and then they started a game where you rolled the dice and did a different action for what number you got like 1) take a piece of candy from the middle, 2) steal a piece of candy from the person to your left, etc. Then they got to keep whatever they had at the end.
It was a cute game and they all had fun with it!
After that we headed home to finish our schoolwork and then had to pick up the basketball girls after practice and go straight back to church for discipleship (Boo and Peanut) and choir (me). Daddy picked up the little ones and took them home. The rest of the week was just about as crazy, but thankfully that Friday was the last day of school and we were able to rest a bit once Christmas break started!
