Birthday Celebrations!

We got to celebrate Mama's 95th birthday with her! We brought her favorite lemon chicken for dinner.

Then we let her open her presents.

We are so blessed to have this amazing woman in our lives!

Love these people so much!

Her sweet friend, T, from church made her this giant birthday cookie.

Happy birthday to you!

And we ended the night with a game of cards. :)

A few days later we celebrated my 44th! The girls were at VBS that week with Noni but we all met up for lunch and I got to open some great presents!

I made an Amazon wish list and instead of picking a few things off it T just bought it all, haha. They definitely spoiled me!

And they also got me this cool Japanese Cherry Blossoms Lego Art!

And Noni made my favorite coconut pudding dessert!

T got off work early, grabbed the girls, and ran to town for "something". I got to relax and read my book out on the patio, and they were back two hours later with a Sonic tea and Qdoba, my favorite! The little girls had a birthday party to attend that night so T took them to that and then Bug and F surprised me by showing up at the door! We ate dinner and then went for a sunset walk. It was a perfect birthday with all my favorite things!

Fourth of July!

We had a great 4th of July! Noni and Papa invited everyone over to their house for a BBQ and our friends the O family were able to come! The girls set straight to work decorate the flag cakes we had made at home.

Ta da!

Bug, F, and J all came as well.

Noni had an amazing dinner all ready for us.

The younger set all ate outside.

Peanut and S escaped everyone and ate by themselves. :P

Then the little ones had a ball playing and doing the zipline.

Triple stack!

Noni set up a game for them to play.

They had to throw Auntie N's homemade, crocheted water balloons off the deck and hit a bucket or the sled for points. I guess Lou missed, haha!

It was harder than it looked!

Even Mama got in on the fun!

And eventually the game devolved into a water balloon fight. :)

We left to get home for bed and the teenagers all headed to the nearby casino for the fireworks and drone show. It sounds like it was pretty cool!

We let Peaches and Lou do the leftover sparklers from Bug's wedding.

They were pretty happy.

Nothing better than a warm summer night and a kid discovering the joy of a sparkler!

Funny girls!

The girls said the drone show at the casino was pretty cool. Here are a couple pictures they sent.

And is sounds like the fireworks were really good too!

They didn't end up getting home until 11:30 so I was happy we chose not to go, but I'm glad they got to. Happy 250th America!
