Leftover Thursday

Taco was hiding from Lou in this little house.

Dominos with Mama. This was a while ago when we didn't wear masks.

Jax barks at and chases the birds all the time. I don't think he's ever got one.

One night I went to take a shower and asked T to finish the eggs I'd put on to boil. I usually put a quick smiley face on them to let the girls know which are hard boiled. The next morning we found this. Haha!

Haircuts! Boo's is so long she has to stand while it's cut.

Getting Peanut's summer bob since she will hardly ever let me brush it or fix it.

This is from Bug's birthday when Peanut fell and hit the end of the scooter. The lump was huge as you can see.

Tadpoles!

On our weekly visits to the beach the girls have started catching tadpoles! There are thousands of them down there and they love capturing them.

They have so much fun. Swimming, castle building, and just being with friends.

These pictures cracked me up! It looks like she's saying, "For freedom!"

Peaches really wanted to jump off the dock like the big girls.

It took her a while but she finally got up her courage and went for it.

We had a see through bucket that was really neat for watching the tadpoles swim around.

They wanted to bring some home, but we left them to their natural habitat. :)

Weekend Warrior Girls!

A couple weeks ago we got a really good weekend of work done. The girls helped out a lot and we made a good bit of progress!

They also found a frog. Haha.

It looked just like Toady from last summer so maybe it was. :)

You can see they were enjoying playing in the dirt. Haha.

This little one is handful. Usually Bug or Boo babysit her so we can work. She has to be watched at all times!

Daddy taught Bug and Boo how to use the paint sprayer and they did a pretty good job!

Boo also helped paint some of the trim boards by hand.

Peanut took a turn babysitting and she and Lou had a fun time. :)

The big girls are really good at lending a hand wherever needed.

Peaches got in on helping a little. :)

And even Lou did some tractor work with Daddy.

Peanut knows how to raise and lower the forks.

We got one of the soffits up on this side, but the birds decided to build a nest IN the attic space of the first addition so we've had to wait until the babies fly away before we can put the other one in.

Time out break for some diggin'.

We've made so much more progress just since these pictures will taken! I'll post another update soon!

Videos

I am way behind on posting videos! Hopefully I haven't already posted these...

Peanut's last school report was on Dik-diks. I had never even heard of them before, but apparently she learned about them on Wild Kratts.

Peaches wanted to give a report two so she told me a couple stories.

This is Lou when she figured out a way to make her tricycle work. :)

Here's one of Lou and Taco when we first got him. He's already grown a lot since this video was taken!

And speaking of cats. Bug's cat "talks". It's the funiest thing! Here is a little video Peanut got of him. When we took them to the vet he talked and talked the whole way.

Leftover Thursday

Since their preschool year was cut short Ms J. brought Peaches a bag of goodies and the sweet little scrapbook of their year. Peaches had a great time opening her presents and was so happy! We've decided to send her again next year since she didn't get the full year and because she loved it so much.
