On the way back from the blowhole we passed this little pullout where there were some cars parked and T decided we should check it out. I'm glad he was leading because we would have missed some great sights on this trip if I'd been the one leading.
This was apparently privately owned property but they allow people to walk through it to get access to a beach at the end, and it was amazing!
It was like a secret forest with huge trees!
Of course there were chickens running all over the place. This one was running down the path after Bug. Haha.
Apparently long ago there used to be a church and cemetery in here because there was a sign saying to stay on the paths because of all the unmarked graves.
I can't even describe how cool this place was. It was like a secret fairy forest.
There was a rocky beach at the end and about 20 surfers in the water farther out.
One super interesting thing we noticed was that the trees grew up to each other and then stopped. They didn't overlap or fight for space so it looked almost like a map of rivers when you looked up at the canopy. Very cool.
We finally tired them out!
