Food Truck Park!

 T found an amazing food truck park just down the street from our condo! We ended up going there four times! It was on either end of a nursery so there were tons of plants and sculptures every where and you could walk through the paths and see everything. They had several games set up and lots of nice tables to eat at. We loved it!

They also had the place strung with lights that were so pretty at night!

 

 

This was just a post with hooks on it and you threw a metal ring on a string to try to catch on the hooks. So simple but fun! 

 

 

Smashburgers and pad thai were what we got most often. So good!

 

 

There were chickens everywhere! For the most part they kept to themselves but a few brave ones would fly up and land on the tables trying to beg food.

 

 

One night Boo got a gourmet grilled cheese and tomato soup that came with a Caesar salad. She let me taste it and it was amazing. The guy that owned that food truck was super nice and very passionate about food. :)

One thing about Hawaii was that literally everywhere we went there were signs warning of injury and death. I'm assuming this particular sign was a joke...but some of those chickens did look pretty fiesty. Haha.

 

 

These type of signs were everywhere! At the beach you could die of sharks, jellyfish, currents, rip tides, and "other" dangers. In the freshwater you could die of leptospirosis, a life-threatening bacteria. In waterfalls you could die from being hit on the head by rocks. In treed areas you could die from falling trees or coconuts. At the blowhole you could die from getting sucked into the ocean and/or slammed against rocks. On many of the roads you could go flying off a cliff if you took a curve too fast. Not to mention all the rain and flash flooding because the water could come raging down the mountain streams at any moment.

 

 As a mom I spend my life constantly on the lookout for potential danger because it's literally my job to keep these crazy, daredevil humans alive every day. In Hawaii it was easy to spot potential danger because it felt like everything was trying to kill us! :P While we were there I told my mom as soon as we get home safe and sound this will have been the most amazing vacation we have ever taken...but while we are here it is very stressful trying to keep everyone alive! :P

 

Anyway, one night after the food trucks I saw a car show and told T about it. He took the big kids over there to look around. Peanut fell in love with VW buses and even bought a toy one later with a surfboard on the top. :)

 

 

Back at the food trucks. This was a favorite. I had one the last night and they were super good!
