We started out our Thanksgiving with something new...Lou is finally facing forward! All the others we flipped around several months before their 2nd birthdays, but because of the new car seat laws in our state they have to remain rear facing until age 2 now. She was sitting with her legs folded there at the end because she was so long. She was quite happy to flip around.
I remember Peaches struggling with the flip, so I was anticipating some car fussing, but she didn't skip a beat.
We arrived at Noni and Papa's for our outdoor thanksgiving! They had everything all set up with chairs, tables of food, Noni's new fire pit we got her for her birthday...
And a huge bonfire!
It was pretty cold out but the bonfire provided some great heat!
Papa got the fire pit going.
And the bonfire got bigger and bigger.
We got to relax and visit.
And give snuggles.
And the masks actually helped keep our faces warm!
I should have gotten a video of this. Noni and the little ones were playing a funny peek-a-boo game with their hats. So sweet.

The girls started getting hungry so we got the food going.
We roasted hotdogs in the firepit! It was actually really fun, like a camping thanksgiving. :)
Noni had bought a big thing of individual chips which the girls thought was really fun.
After we ate our hotdogs and chips we roasted smores too! The girls loved that of course!
Peaches said, "This is the best thanksgiving EVER!"
It WAS a wonderful thanksgiving! Of course it didn't look like the usual traditions, and it wasn't as fun as spending the whole weekend at Noni and Papa's, but we were thankful to just be able to still get to spend time together in this strange and crazy year!
