It finally happened! Bug got to meet one of her teachers! From the luck of the draw she has never, in seven years with K12, been able to meet one of her teachers. They have all lived too far away. This was especially difficult for her last year as both Peanut and Boo had close teachers who we saw multiple times and who even came to their dance recitals! So you can imagine Bug's excitement when she learned she finally got a teacher on our side of the state!
Her teacher planned a field trip, and we didn't hear about it until that week. It was only for 5th-8th grade, so I knew I wouldn't be able to take everyone, but Noni sweetly agreed to take Bug. Bug, in turn, graciously invited Boo to come and got special permission from her teacher since Boo is only in 4th grade.
Noni sent me pictures and it looked like they had a blast!
Their field trip was to the Apple store and they got to program robot spheres using an iPad.
They met a fun new friend and were the only group to get their robot through the maze!! Go girls!
They even made it through twice!
Such a great field trip! We are looking forward to our year with Mrs. P!
