After the baseball game Auntie Nae, Waylon, and Grandma all came back to our house to spend the night and the next morning we got to head to our little “downtown” for the parade!
I loved our town’s float this year! It was Mario, complete with the original Nintendo music. A black bullet was traveling around a track, the boxes were spinning, and the dragon was even breathing smoke. So cute!
We saw lots of friends riding in the parade!
The kids waved to everything as it went by and collected lots of candy!
Here was the girls’ favorite. Of course!
The sock hop was cute!
After the parade we had the fun surprise of meeting my sweet friend E’s little twins! They were in town visiting their Great-Grandma. They are SO adorable!
Peanut was exhausted from the late night before. During the parade she had asked me, “Can I go home and take a nap now?” Afterwards she wanted in the pickup and when we wouldn’t let her she got desperate enough to find a spot to lay her head. Poor thing. Haha :) We got some lunch and then took her home for a nap.
What a fun morning!
