Rehearsal Dinner

The night before (after our huge day of swimming) Peanut didn’t eat her dinner and just wanted to snuggle in my lap…unusual for our always-on-the-go toddler!  I was thinking she didn’t feel good so we put her to bed early.  A little while later I checked on her and found her fast asleep with throw up everywhere.  I hated to wake her up but she had it on her pack n’play, sleeper, elephant, and blanket.  I woke her up and was stripping her and the bed when she threw up again.  Poor baby.  We got her all cleaned up and back in bed and I stayed in the room while she went to sleep.  She threw up once more, but thankfully Noni had suggested putting towels under her so I was able to just whisk the top one away before it made a mess again.

After that she went to sleep and never threw up again.  T and I woke up the next morning and found out that Boo had been throwing up since 6:00am and Buggy was feeling bad too.  They ended up staying in bed all day watching cartoons and throwing up periodically. :(  I thought that we had just plum worn them out from a full day of sun and swimming dawn to dusk and hoped that they would feel better with rest.  Later we realized they had some kind of flu bug. :(

That night was the rehearsal dinner.  Peanut and Boo had perked up by that time but Buggy was still feeling pretty bad.  I got them all dressed, and Boo looked as cute as ever despite her rough day. :)

The Pastor and the wedding party all came out on the sand and rehearsed the ceremony.

I rehearsed taking pictures since that was my job for the wedding.  I LOVE taking pictures, but am in no way especially talented at it.  Thankfully with my nice camera and the beautiful ocean and sand backgrounds I somehow managed to get some great ones on the wedding day…even on the auto setting! Haha :)

Uncle Ken and Aunt Jody catered a delicious meal for the rehearsal dinner.  It was a BBQ place and the food was AMAZING!  And they did such a good job someone thought THEY were actually the caterers!  Haha :)

We set up an eating area on the patio/parking area.  It worked out great!
