A Boat Ride and A BBQ

On Thursday Bug woke up sick again.  She and Boo were both having tummy problems. :(  Poor babies.  I felt so bad for them.  We had this beautiful beach house and Bug spent the majority of the time on the couch!  They watched more TV in those few days than they would in a month at home!  There wasn’t much else they could do though.  Boo perked up after a morning of resting but Bug was still pretty down. 

We were invited for an afternoon/evening at Uncle Ken and Aunt Jody’s house so we packed up the kids and went.  We had just eaten lunch and figured Peanut could take her nap at their house.  Aunt Karen looked over during the ride to find Peanut nearly asleep in her car seat.  She started playing with her to wake her up but it was hard because she was so tired!

Noni got a little video since we were all laughing at Peanut’s attempts to wake up.  So funny.

When we got there we put Peanut down for a nap and Bug was so tired that she climbed into the bed next to her and they both conked out for a couple hours. 

Boo on the other hand was ready to go so she got to put her lifejacket on and go for a boat ride.

I stayed back with the other two and she was SO excited to tell me that she got to steer the boat!

And she said she found a “hideout” in the bottom of the boat.  She loved it. :)

And the coolest part was they got to see dolphins!  One came really close to the boat and Noni got it on video!

When they got back they let their dogs come out to play for a bit.  They have two huge Great Danes.  They are so pretty!

But they had no experience with kids so the “puppy” was VERY afraid of Boo.  He growled, and barked, and snipped at her trying to chase her off and she screamed like crazy so he had to be put away. 

I thought this was a funny picture though: the big huge dog looking afraid of someone smaller than him.  He had no idea what kind of strange creature she was! :)

We had a delicious BBQ dinner and another boat ride and then had to say our goodbyes to Pawpaw and Nana since they were leaving the next day.  It was a nice evening.
