The Fair

I'm not sure where the idea came from but the girls decided they wanted to have a fair. They planned and made lists and worked on it for over a week. They were going to be spending the night at Noni and Papa's so T and I could get some work done on the Farmhouse and Noni graciously agreed to be the Fair Coordinator and let them have it at her house. Which worked out well for them because I definitely would not have made it as extravagant as she did. I was thinking a couple streamers and a balloon or two. Noni is way cooler. Haha :)

 

She let them all paint their own signs. Even Peaches!

 

She sent me these pics. So cute.

Peaches thinks she is just as big as the rest of them!

 

We worked all day Saturday and then drove over to the fair...with two surprise guest: Grandma and Grandpa!

We bought raffle tickets for items that they had prepared.

Mostly Perler bead creations but there were also some clothespin bugs. :)

Noni helped them prepare the food. They even had little popcorn bags. :)

SO happy!

Except for one who didn't want to sit still for the picture. Haha!

There was a game station with many filled water balloons!

There were water balloon tosses.

In which even Great-Grandmothers participated!

And some participants got wetter than others.

Some water balloon squirting in the mouth.

 

And of course eating the wonderful fair food.

  

And the evening ended with a full on water balloon fight!

At the very end T took the bin that still had quite a bit of water in it and chased the girls, Peanut wanted it dumped on her and got a shower!

Then there were rides to the car after changing out of wet clothes. :)
