I completely forgot about the chalk drawing contest this year! Thankfully T reminded me the night before and I was able to adjust my plans, of laundry and packing K&S for their trip, so we could participate. The girls love to do this!
Grandma came with us and we went down and got each girl a square. Peaches did not want to stay in her own square but Grandma and I did our best to keep her from ruining the other girls' designs.
Peanut wanted to do the Farmhouse and she did a great job, white house-green roof!
Buggy did a complicated flower design and then wrote: Trust in the Lord...
Boo did a big flower and wrote God is Love.
Once again I am thankful to live in this small town and get to participate in such a fun community!
It's hard to see with the skirt but Peaches was doing a funny sumo-squat. Silly girl!
She kept toddling off down the sidewalk and we'd have to go get her.

After we were done we went to the park for a bit before meeting Noni, Aunt Karen, Aunt Jody, and Mama for lunch. What a fun day!
