ABC’s

We actually had a nice relaxing weekend around here!  On Friday night we went shopping.  We went to Home Depot and actually managed to get home without spending a ton of money!  Shocking since that’s where it seems like half our budget goes. :P 

The only thing we did buy, other than dinner, was a small toy for Boo since we finally let Bug spend her birthday money.  She picked out a Lego set.  They have new girl-focused Legos and she picked the Veterinarian set.  It’s pretty cute.  She and Daddy spent almost all Saturday morning putting it together and playing with it.

T was able to finish the floor on the deck on Saturday afternoon while the girls were sleeping. It looks so nice!  I’m hoping we’ll be able to get the rest of it finished before too much longer, but it’s already a huge improvement. 

To complete our relaxed Saturday we had pizza and watched the movie Megamind with the girls.  It was pretty cute, and had a nice ending.

Sunday was church and T and Papa went golfing afterwards.  I finally got my scrapbooking stuff back out so I can finish Boo’s babybook!  Yikes.  I really really need to get that done before the new baby gets here!  That is my goal for July: Finish babybook!  Pretty bad that she’ll be 2 1/2 this month and I’m not even half finished with it. :P

Anyway, I didn’t take any pictures this weekend so I’ll leave you with this video I took of Boo singing her ABC’s.  She doesn’t quite have it perfect yet but I love the way she sings it. :)  At home we say, “Now I know my ABC’s next time won’t you sing with me” and at Preschool they say, “Now I know my ABC’s.  I love God and God’s loves me.” So Boo has combined the two and sings, “Now I know my ABC’s. Next time God will sing with me.”  Haha :)
