We started out St. Patrick's Day with our usual Lucky Charms and then for lunch we had green eggs and ham with toast and green sprinkles. :)
We had a brief hailstorm and the girls ran outside to catch some hail. There were a few pea sized pieces which is big for our area! Jax had better sense then they did and stayed under the porch, haha.
I had choir practice that night and our director had us color a picture while we did our scales. She is always coming up with funny things to get us out of our comfort zones and lighten us up.
We sang our first piece at the end of March, and again at Easter. She has done a wonderful job of turning a small group of amateurs into a decent sounding choir! There are 9 of us and over half have never been in a choir before and don't read music so she has had her work cut out for her, but she has done a fabulous job getting us into shape! After our first piece we gave her some flowers as a thank you.
Peanut got some more pretty wall hangings for her room and put them up herself.
She also got her vines hung nicely! She took this picture.
Speaking of Peanut, she had to create an animal in Science class so she came up with this Yellow Newt-like creature and made a whole food web for it. I thought they were pretty cute. :)
