I was in charge of the cast party again this year, but several parents and Bug helped me set up and it went really quickly. While we were doing that the others were tearing down the stage. At 5 it was all finished and everyone made their way over to the town hall. We started off with the gift exchange. They do a secret pal thing and have to say something nice about the cast member that they got. It's always a sweet time.
Boo had to go home so she could do drivers ed and had to miss the party so Peaches gave her gift out.
Peaches and Peanut both got some fun things from their "pal".
And had fun watching the other kids receive their gifts.
Then they gave Ms D a card they all signed and a gift card everyone chipped in on and mobbed her with a giant group hug. Haha.
We did a potluck taco bar and I had everyone sign up to bring a certain part. We had fun visiting for another hour while the kids ran around playing, and then we cleaned up and finally made it home around 7:30.
Another wonderful play in the books! We can't wait for next year!
