I can't believe AWANA is already over for the year! Some years I am ready for it to be done, but this one seemed to go really fast! All the girls did an amazing job and Peanut, Peaches, and Lou all graduated from their groups!
This was Lou's last year of Cubbies...bittersweet for sure. Our last baby is definitely not a baby anymore. Next year will be the first time Noni has not had one of our girls in Cubbies since we all started volunteering 14 years ago.
Peaches worked really hard to finish her book...it was down to the wire but she was able to pull it off and finished her 3rd book in Sparkies which meant she got her Sparky plaque! We had a big group graduating Sparks this year...they have been my biggest group the last three years. They are all excited to be big T&T'ers next year!

Peanut also worked hard to finish her book and got her 4th book award...the Timothy. I can't believe she is graduating T&T!
Boo started out the year helping in one of the T&T rooms, but before long she took over as the leader and ran the room all by herself! She had one particular girl who was quite a challenge (not pictured). Her patience was stretched as well as her ability to answer hard questions but she persevered and did a wonderful job showing God's love. We are so proud of her leadership skills and how she is such a great example. She did a great job and the girls love her so much and really look up to her!
As a group leader she got to hand out their awards.
Pastor J had lots of praise for his teen helpers. Bug didn't help in one specific area this year. She filled in where needed and had several different jobs.
In addition to running her T&T group, Boo also kept up with her own AWANA book (which was optional) and finished her 6th book! I think only one other girl was working on a book and Boo was the only one to receive the Meritorious award! Way to go!
They graduated the 6th graders from T&T into Trek/Journey.
Pastor J told them to go drag the 6th graders over the "big kid" side and Bug and Boo took that literally. :P
Lou was sitting on the floor right up front snacking away during the ceremony, haha! I guess I should just be thankful she is so comfortable at church. :P
