Our birthday festivities had to be rearranged due to our Covid quarantine, but Buggy was really sweet about going with the flow and having an at-home birthday. We were supposed to go to a trampoline park with her friends so we had to postpone that. The girls all took the day off school with the exception of class connects. We started with a breakfast of pancake cereal per the birthday girl's request.
And then she got to do sister presents. Peanut got her some fun highlighters she had on her list.
Boo got her a small easel that you doodle on with water and then it dries leaving you with a fresh board to doodle again.
Lou "got" her scrunchies. I wish now that I had saved all mine from junior high. Who knew they would come back into fashion. Haha.
She loves them!
Peaches got her some dotted notebooks.
Peanut dressed Queso up for the party. Haha.
Since we couldn't leave the house Noni sweetly brought us lunch AND Papa Murphy's for dinner! She stayed well back and talked to the girls while they bounced.
She got a picture of us as she drove away.
Daddy was planning to take off at noon but he ended up having a surprise inspection that he had to be there for. He felt really bad, but thankfully he was able to sneak away for lunch. Bug opened the presents Noni had brought...a hair straightener from Mama.
And a cool sketchbook and a huge pack of fine tip Sharpies from Aunt K.
She has already used both a ton!
The girls spent the rest of the afternoon watching a movie, and Bug got to FaceTime with one of her besties. They love using all the filters and taking pictures. :)
Bug made her cake that afternoon too...a geode cake! It turned out pretty well! We bought rock candy for the geode parts.
