82 days! That's how long I'm calling our quarantine. The last day we went to church was March 15th and the first day back was June 7th. Almost three months exactly.
To be honest I actually enjoyed the quieter Spring. Usually Spring is our busiest time of year and I barely have time to breathe between school, church, AWANA, worship team, and rushing three of the girls back and forth to soccer practices and games. It was really nice to be able to relax, stay home, and get a lot more done on the house!
Of course it was hard to miss church and all our friends, but we did surprisingly well. The girls are blessed to have sisters to play with! They did very well through the quarantine...much better than I anticipated. We had a few rough days, but for the most part they played well together and enjoyed each other.
We did have friends over once. We had a pickup play date where S&A came over and we put the kids in the back of the pickups to talk. :)
We also did a car based scavenger hunt with friends. We had lists of 25 things we had to find and we drove around town in our own cars hunting for them.
Bug and Boo were in charge of taking pictures of the things we found. Almost all of them were blurry but here is an example of two of the things...a fire hydrant.
And a bird. It was raining so the only one we found was under a pickup.
The funny thing was that the thing I would be the easiest on the list was actually the very last thing we found and we had to hunt and hunt! A dog!! I guess everyone brings their dogs in when it's raining because we drove around for nearly 45 minutes and didn't spot a dog until the very end!
I can't remember what Peaches was upset about but she did not want to smile for an end of the hunt picture. :P
Even when Peanut let out a burp and made everyone laugh. You can see she's trying not to smile. :)
We had communion one Sunday at home with online church. All we had was grape soda (that we'd gotten as a prize from the Easter Scavenger hunt) and wheat thins. The soda tasted like cough syrup, lol, but it was still nice to be able to take it together.
The girls colored one of their last quarantine capsule pages during the sermon.
Our last quarantine church service! The worship team started back two weeks before we officially moved into Phase 3 so I stayed home. It was really hard not to be able to play!

We are very thankful we were still able to attend church via Facebook!
Peaches drew this picture and said, "This is me CRUSHING the Coronavirus!"
All in all it was not a bad time and we made it through just fine, but we are still very thankful to be out of quarantine!
