Water Park!

I haven’t been regularly checking K’s school email since we were done with our lessons. One day I got on and found an email that said it was the last day to register for discounted tickets to a nearby water park.

We had never taken the girls but always wanted to so we quickly decided to go for it! Noni came with us to have fun and help with the kiddos. This is actually a theme park and water park combined. I think the forecast was 99 for that day and we were already hot by 10am so we headed for the water park first.

They had this cool maze of slides and water, but it was a little overwhelming for Peanut.

I put all of our phones/cameras in a locker after that picture so I don’t have any others of the water park. We had a great time though. We stayed in there for about three hours and in that time T took K down all the big slides.

Noni and I took the little ones on the lazy river. Peanut did not like that and spent the first five min. crying. She finally calmed down, but really the only thing she liked in the water park was the toddler splash pad. She did that for an hour while the big ones went with T down one of the family raft slides.

We had wrist bands for lunch that ended at 2pm so we left the water park and headed that way at 1:30. It was a long walk all the way to the other side of the park.

After lunch T and K headed off in the direction of the roller coasters! Brave girl!

They did roller coasters, bumper cars, bumper boats, an antique car ride and I don’t even know what else!

Noni and I took the little ones over to the kiddie section. Boo LOVED it! I think she had the most fun of anyone! She rode all the rides multiple times and giggled and squealed and waved every time she went around! It was so fun to watch her having so much fun.

It was so nice to have Noni along so we could play a tag team with the girls, and she always lots of fun to hang out with!

“Little Toot” roller coaster. You can see that the kiddie section was not crowded at all. She didn’t have to wait in any lines, and was most often the only one on the ride.

This was the only thing Peanut enjoyed in the theme park section. A wooden tree house (play set). She climbed up and down the stairs and went across the bridge multiple times.

Peanut refused to ride any of the rides. She loves dogs though so she decided to give this one a try. Boo sweetly helped her in and Peanut put her hand on Boo’s shoulder and would not let go until the ride stopped. So cute.

This one was a big pendulum swing. Boo loved it!

This one took you to the top and dropped you.

Airplanes.

We finally found T and K (he didn’t have his phone when they were roller coaster-ing) so he and Noni took K&S on the log ride. Peanut and I waited (she was too little) and got their picture when they came down.

After that Boo wanted to show Bug all the fun rides so they went through them all together.

The last ride of the day was the parachutes. T took Boo and Bug was in the one behind them. She loved it and said it was her favorite ride of the day. You can see her arm up because she’s waving and so excited!

We finally headed out about 6:30 and said goodbye to the “choo choo” on our way out.

What a long day of fun!
