Lake Resort!

The girls were so excited to go to Daddy’s conference at the lake resort this year! Especially since we didn’t get to go last year…although a week at the beach in Florida (for Uncle Sean’s wedding) was worth missing it for!

We had the added bonus of Noni coming with us this year which the girls loved! We got to town and our room wasn’t ready so we went out to dinner and ran to the store. By the time we got back it was getting late, but we still let the girls go swimming before bed. This was a new place for us to stay (our usual place was booked) but it was fun because their pool had a slide!

T took Peanut down and she got splashed in the face and did not want to go after that. Haha :)

Buggy went down countless times over the three days we were there.

Boo was scared to go down, but by the second day she had it figured out and also went down more times than I could count.

It was kind of neat because the pool was right up against the lake. K was the only one that went in the lake, but she said it wasn’t too cold. In the mornings people were swimming in wet suits so it looked pretty cold to me!

Peanut had to be hanging onto someone or have someone hanging onto her at all times or she would panic. We worked on getting used to the water, but she’s still not there.

It was SO nice to have Noni along. She put the girls to bed each night so T and I could go for sunset walks. This place has gorgeous scenery so it was really pretty!

Left side…the pictures don’t do it justice! The water was aqua colored and perfectly clear.

T was in meetings from 8-4 and then had dinners every night so Noni, the girls and I spent about 10 hours at the pool in three days! They had a blast but Noni and I were worn out! Haha :)

Our friends had just given us this little life jacket that their daughter grew out of. Normally Peanut REFUSES to wear a life jacket of any type, but this one was a pretty pink color with a “TE!” so she happily wore it the whole time. Thank goodness!

The pool wasn’t toddler friendly so she stayed on the stairs unless Noni or I were with her. Bug and Boo spent hours diving for rings and other pool toys!
