Last Wednesday was 40ft banana split night, but I guess with the Cubbies section it ended up being 50ft! These are all Noni’s pictures since we were celebrating T’s birthday that night.

A Cubbie-class sized banana split!
When we had the committee meeting about this night most of us were a little disgusted at the mass of germs a community banana split might generate, but our Pastor said that was half the fun of it! He said when they did this in the past he would find the sloppiest, messiest section he could find and dig right in with the kids! I guess he wasn’t kidding!
It’s been 5 days and so far we’ve seen no side effects so I guess they came out unscathed. :)
Bug is getting so grown up these days! It’s hard to believe she’ll be seven in just a few short months!
Both girls loved all the ice cream fun and they spent the night with Noni so we didn’t have to deal with the sugar rush. :)
We headed to Noni’s after T got off work the next day so we could celebrate Papa’s birthday. Noni made a yummy meal of spaghetti (Papa’s traditional birthday meal), French bread, salad, and vegetables, and chocolate cake. She also made a peach crisp for T’s birthday since he loves them.
The girls decorated with every candle in Noni’s stash and then Papa had the girls blow them out. :)
We played a few rounds of cards…
…while the little ones read books.
Then we had to head home to get the monkeys in bed, but we had a great time celebrating another round of birthdays!
That is one huge banana split!! Chloe thought it was awesome:)
