Bathroom “Afters”

Ok! As promised…bathroom before and afters!  The bathroom is 95% done.  Just a few more little details to wrap up. Here is some of the demolition and progress.

We planned to put a pocket door in to save space, but after tearing the hallway down to the studs we realized it wasn’t going to work so T just replaced the sheetrock.

It was actually one of our fastest remodels yet!  It helps to motivate you when you have to be traipsing up and down the stairs every time you need to go to the bathroom or take a shower. :)

So here is a before…the nasty old tub. It’s kind of sad but the thing I am most excited about is being able to clean my bathroom!  When you have really old, chipped, stained everything even if you scrub and scrub it never really looks clean!  The tub here is not clean, but even if it was it wouldn’t look much different.

I didn’t get a picture of the tub from this angle.  You can see my accent wall.  Orange!  Our first orange wall in the house!

T was not overly excited about the birds on the shower curtain, but he still went with it.  He likes the orange wall.

We started out with a curved shower rod but realized that it made the small bathroom feel even more tiny so I went online and found this Rotator Rod on Amazon.  Above is when it’s out for showering, below is when it’s in for bathroom use.  Nice feature!
