Tournament! - Part 3

 If Peaches and Lou had won their first games of the tournament they would have been on the fast track to the championship game and only needed to play two games to get there but since they lost their first games they had to play four more to work their way back to the championships. But wow, what a fight they put up to get back there! So proud of these kids and how hard they worked! 

This was the 11am Sunday game for Peaches. 

 

 

 They won by quite a bit.

 

 

 But she was still super excited when she learned they were headed to the championship game!

 

 

  

 Here's Lou and A while they were resting between games. 

 

 

Lou's 11am game ended in a shootout! It was crazy! The two coaches picked 5 kids to shoot and when T was looking around to decide who would be goalie the moms on the sidelines were shouting Lou's name, haha! So she got to be the goalie. 

 

At the end of the 5 kids it was tied so they went one by one until every one of the kids ended up having to shoot! And we ended up with the win!!! Lou blocked 9 goals and only let two through! Way to go Goalie Lou!!! 

 

 

 She was pretty proud of herself. :)

 

 

 

Then it was championship time! 

 

 

I didn't get a lot of pictures because I was too focused on watching both championship games going on at the same time. Our kids played great and they won!! 6 to 3!

 

 

I love this picture because if you zoom in you can see all the kids running to their parents right after they realized they won. So sweet! 

 

 

T was mobbed with hugs after the game.

 

 

We headed over to catch the end of Peaches game. Apparently she wasn't looking when this ball was thrown in. 

 

 

 

It must have hit her in the head. I don't even remember taking this picture. Haha. 

 

 

But she must have got back on track.  

 

  

 

Because they did amazing!

And the Kindergartners and 1st graders were not to be outdone...first place!

Peanut was off with her friends so she didn't get in the picture but I am so proud of my soccer people and how hard they worked this season!! They are all champions in my book, with or without the trophies!
