After we got done shopping we headed back to the house to change and grab all the things we needed to spend the rest of the day at the lake. It wasn't super warm but the girls still enjoyed it and swam.
Lou is always wallowing in the sand because she is cold. :)
And this was Daddy's favorite part of the day!
They put together a wiffle-ball game.
At one point T hit the ball into the tops of the trees where it lodged, but a little boy that was camping nearby gave us another ball so the game could continue. So sweet!
They played for a couple hours!
Time out for dinner!
After dinner everyone came down to the beach.
It was such a nice relaxing day!
Daddy got in the water with the girls and started launching them off his shoulders.
They loved it!

It was a perfect way to spend a summer day!
But in the interest of keeping it real I will tell you that this one swallowed some lake water and then coughed so much that she threw up. :P Thankfully she was standing in the sand so I was able to just cover it up with more sand and then use the sand shovel to make a few trips with it over to the bushes. Other than THAT it was a wonderful day, haha.
We got back to the house just in time for bed. The S family left early the next morning to get back in time for church but we were able to take our time packing up. The girls found a tiny frog as we were putting our suitcases in the car.
"For FREEDOOOOOOM!!!"
Just kidding...you're captured again Mr. Frog. :P I let them play with it for a bit and then they put it in the grass near a tree.
We checked out at 11 and hit the road. We found a fun diner to stop at for lunch and everyone got breakfast foods. Also in the interest of being real...as excited as she looks here she took one bite and refused to eat. No idea what was going on, but she said it made her tummy hurt. Thankfully everyone else enjoyed their meal and we made it home with no problems!
