Aslan chased Boo, the Witch, off before she could murder Edmund, and then his siblings found him.
Aslan's army started to gather.
And he confronted the White Witch who pointed out that the law of deep magic demanded that she was due the blood of the traitorous Edmund.
Aslan sacrificed himself in Edmund's place.
Boo gave a speech.
And then plunged a dagger into his heart...or the foam block next to him, haha. She actually did stab him (with a blunt sword) on accident more than once in rehearsal so they got the foam block for her to stab instead.
The girls did a wonderful job pretending to be heartbroken over Aslan's death.
And then they joined the fight.
Everyone was surprised when Aslan returned from the dead and explained that if one who is pure takes the place of a traitor that death works backwards.
No one was more shocked at this news than the White Witch!
Aslan chased her offstage and we heard a bloodcurdling scream.
But not before she stabbed Edmund, but thankfully Lucy had a potion to save him!
And Edmund repented and it was happily ever after in Narnia as the four children were crowned Kings and Queens at Cair Paravel!
Then they went back through the wardrobe and told Professor Diggory what had happened.
Bravo! Bravo!
