Tournaments!

 We had two volleyball tournaments this year. I liked the setup for Boo's JV tournament much better. The first half of the day was all in one place with back to back games. They started at 9am and played four games in a row with just a short break in between. Varsity or JV Boo plays her heart out and makes sure no ball within 10 feet of her touches the ground without getting a hand on it.

 

 

Her serve has improved so much this season! She just has to work on controlling all that power and she will have a wicked serve next year!

 

 

She and I spent 8 hours in the gym that day! 

 

The next weekend was the varsity tournament. The reason I don't like it as much is that it was two days, and four different gyms, and hours between games so you are in town all day long. Their first game was at 9am as well so we had to leave bright and early. Bug and A saw me taking this picture. :)

I have loved watching the girls play together this year! I'm so glad they got to be on the same team before Bug graduated.

Thankfully Noni took the little ones Friday and Saturday. They were excited to spend the night and I was excited to not have to corral all their energy for 8+ hours in the gyms. Haha. Thank you Noni!!!

 

 

Between games we went with the team to do some thrift shopping which all the girls love! Then we got some lunch and drove two towns away to the next game. Daddy and Peanut met us there.

They lost their games on Friday so that put them with one more game on Saturday. Noni met us there with the little ones and we all watched Bug's final game. The team they were playing against is very evenly matched. They had beaten us at their gym and we beat them at ours. 

 

 

They fought hard for every point and won two of the sets!

The ended up losing the last set by just a couple points, but they did not give up and we are so proud of the our girls and the way the whole team really pulled together this year! They have improved so much over the last four years! Great job girls!!! We love you!
