We have been having some crazy weather lately. We woke up to snow almost every morning in the week before Easter. Thankfully it was dry and 43, although windy, for the hunt. Lou was especially excited!
T has been tractoring every spare minute 1) carving down the driveway so we can get rock and gravel, 2) so we can pour a patio in the backyard, and 3) so we can build a little garden shed in the corner of the property. It's been a lot of work but he's making great progress and I'm so excited to see light at the end of the tunnel!
This will be a huge patio in a few months!
The girls looked high and low for their eggs.
E got really low and walked through the garden shed trench to find some. Haha.
It's a serious hunt when you have 2 acres to cover!
Lou did a great job looking under things to find eggs!

And in contrast...the one I can never get to keep a coat or shoes on! :P
The little ones headed inside out of the wind while we did a a last scan around the property.
Bug thought she saw one tucked into the boards.
And was rewarded with a Cadbury Cream egg inside.
Papa went out after they finished and got another ten that he had hidden in hard places. Haha.
I don't know if they have more fun hunting or discovering what they got!
Lou was past naptime and getting sleepy at this point.
Such a fun day! We are SO thankful that our girls have their grandparents close by to love on them and be there to make these special memories!
That evening after everyone had gone home we had a game night and played a tough fought game of Seafarers Catan.
Not sure why Peaches is scowling...maybe because Boo won? Haha.
For the first time Peaches and Lou made it the whole time even though it was an extra long game! They happily played Play Doh and "made cookies" and pizza for us the whole time.
What a wonderful Easter spent with family, celebrating our Risen Lord!
