Boo and I went on our special 11 year old over night! Bug and Peanut were at camp that week so after breakfast we drove the little ones to Noni's and stayed to play a game with her and Mama. Then we left and headed out to lunch at our favorite sandwich shop. Then it was shop til you drop! We had so much fun just going to a bunch of different stores and browsing for deals. We grabbed Sonic and checked into our hotel right at 4!
We hit the pool for a while and then came back and watched the Olympics. We played two games of Catan and Boo won both of them!
She wanted pizza in the hotel room for dinner. :)
The little ones were having all kinds of fun without us!
The next morning we watched some more Olympics, played two more games of Catan. She won one and I won one so we ended up 3-1. We hit the pool again and Boo practiced her swimming strokes...and jumping!
We went out to lunch and did some more shopping. Boo found this pretty sweatshirt on sale at the mall normally $40 and she got it on sale for $9!
Later we met my friend who had picked up Peanut from camp. Then we went back to Noni and Papa's for dinner before heading home to meet the church van that Bug was on coming back from camp...workers have to stay later to go through a debriefing process. Throughout the week they take notes on a 3x5 card for each camper and then before leaving the Senior camp staff prays over each camper. So sweet!
Oh and Daddy was having his own fun...he got to go to a golf tournament that day. I think it's safe to say we all had a wonderful time at our various activities!
Here's the rest of Noni's pictures. She and Papa took the little ones up to the base for a scooter walk and they got to play on TWO playgrounds I was told. :)
