In July Bug and Boo got to go to Texas with Noni for ten days! Right before they left we made a trip to the blueberry farm to stock up! Mama and Noni came with us and we met some friends there!
I was worried that they would be picked over since they had already been ready for over a week, but there were still tons!
Peanut's friend C from church was there. He's a great kid. :)
And some of Peaches' friends came too. She was so excited!
Lou did pretty good for the first hour or so, but then she was done being in the stroller. Bug tried to keep her happy.
But by that point it was be carried around by Mommy or nothing. :P
We brought a picnic lunch that we enjoyed before heading home.
Since the big girls were leaving we didn't get enough to sell this year, but we got plenty to freeze and then polished off a 5 pound bowl in just a few days...lets just say Peaches made quite a few trips to the bathroom that week. :P
The only downside to Texas was that the big girls missed the town days. Peanut, Peaches, Lou and I headed to town that Friday to meet friends and do the chalk drawing contest!
Peaches made our whole family and ended up winning second place! Whoo hoo!
The only bad thing was that this year they divided it into age groups sections so my friend B and I had to split up. I stayed with the little ones and she took Peanut and her other daughter across the street. The little ones didn't last as long so we joined the other side after a while.
Peanut wanted her whole square filled so her friends helped. :)
Peanut's square said, "Jesus loves me". She did a great job! :)
The next morning was the parade! Pictures tomorrow.
