Christmas Eve we did "stockings" and the kids were super excited to start opening!
This year I was even more grateful for Grandma's beautiful Christmas decorations since I hadn't done anything other than the tree at home. Her house was totally decked out and looking gorgeous!
We let the kids dig in first and they had a great time sorting through their loot. :)
I bought each of the girls a new pack of pencils. We literally started the school year with 100 pencils and in four months all but a dozen or so have disappeared! WHERE did they go?? We have a school supply black hole in the new house! :P
Stockings are a great time to restock on bandaids, tape, post it notes, gum, and chapstick!
Grandma also bought the girls bath bombs...their latest obsession. :)
This was the first year Peaches got really into the gift opening. She was SOO excited to open each present and would jump up and down and run to show Grandpa what she got!

She LOVES soap right now and can empty a bottle in half a day...it keeps her busy so it's totally worth it. Haha! Grandma and Grandpa gave her a snowman soap! She loved it!
Not sure what Buggy has there, but she sure is happy about it! :)
Baby slept through the stockings and got to open a few presents after she woke up. Grandma got her this adorable headband and tutu set. It's hard to see but there are little glitter antlers attached to the headband! :)
I tried to get a cute picture of her under the tree, but she was not having it. This is the best one. :P
Then it was time for one last present...Christmas jammies!
Baby got a sleeper! Grandma did a great job on them, and the older kids got cute long-sleeved t-shirts and sweatpants with their names on them that Auntie Nae made!
After they got changed into them Grandpa read the Christmas story from Luke 2.
And after a couple pictures it was time to head to bed!
