While we've been plugging along on our Farmhouse Auntie Nae and family have been building, a from-scratch, new house! They've gone from a grass field to a dried-in house in just a year, and done all the work themselves! Very impressive!
They had a blessing party the other day and we were able to go and see all the work they've done! T has been dying to go help them with their various projects, but we've been on too much of a time crunch with our own massive project. The last time we were there it was still a big, empty, dirt lot.
The girls picked their scriptures and had them ready.
Buggy is making a face because she didn't want me to take her picture. :P
What I love most about their house is the location! It is absolutely gorgeous! Rolling treed hills in every direction!
The kids spent most of their time outside. It was a beautiful day...we've been having a great Indian Summer!

After I added my blessings on the new house I let Peaches come in and supervised her Sharpie use. They are deadly weapons in her hands! :P
I don't know why she was reaching up so high...maybe because she saw the rest of us writing up higher?
"Ta da!"
Peanut and Kenz joined her.
What a fun day! I'm so glad we got to see their house! Maybe we can help them with a project when we are at Grandma and Grandpa's over Christmas break!
