On Saturday morning we were supposed to head to Midland to pick up Daddy at the airport (he couldn't leave when we did because of board meeting so he flew down), but I could tell Peaches was on the verge of a Toddler-gedon sized meltdown if she didn't get a good nap and some time out of the car so Noni sweetly volunteered to stay at the cabin with her for the day.
Aunt Karen, the girls, and I piled in the car and made the 2 1/2 hour trip. As a huge bonus we got to have lunch with Grandma B, Grandpa B, and their son D. They have always been like another set of grandparents to me, and the girls love them too. It was a short, but sweet time together.
The Florida family had also come into the airport that morning so when we were passing on the freeway we jumped off at an exit and got in some quick hugs. They headed to camp as we headed back the direction that they'd just come. Peaches got to have her cousins all to herself which I know she loved! Baby B! SO cute!
Any time you see a really nice quality picture you'll know that Uncle A took it with his good camera. :)
Auntie Karen brought lots of fun toys and books for the kids! They had fun finding all the things.

Daddy's plane ended up having issues and they had to wait for a new one so he was almost two hours late. We didn't get back to camp until 10:30 that night. I was especially thankful that Noni had stayed back with Peaches!
