Auntie N had given the girls bubble wands when we were in New Mexico so they were happy to bring them out one morning before day camp.

And after. It's hard to see just how dirty they are. Their legs and arms are covered in dust. Boo said I should be glad they weren't in the 5th grade because their cheer involved them literally rolling around on the ground.

We took to hosing them off after they got back.
This was Thursday afternoon. The girls decided to put on a little fair for everyone. They got it all set up while the little ones did Legos.
There were throwing games, a fishing game with prizes, bowling, and I can't remember what else. They LOVED the bookstore because they had tattoos, bouncy balls, and other small trinkets for a dime or quarter. I think they went over at least every day...sometimes twice.

Thursday is the best meal...chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, pinto beans (of course! These are at every lunch and dinner.), and the only night they have dessert...peach cobbler, apple cobbler, and ice cream!
We discovered that Peaches would eat the beans if we put ketchup on them.
Peanut is in a not-smiling-for-the-camera-unless-coerced phase.
No such qualms for this one! :)
It's always sad to see the end of camp. The week goes SO fast!
We love camp!
