A couple of weeks ago we went to Daddy's annual conference by the lake. This is always the girls favorite vacation since we do almost nothing but hang around the hotel pool! Daddy and Mr. T left Sunday at 6AM to be part of the golf tournament while we went to church and let Peaches have a nap. Then Noni, the girls, and I got on the road.
We met Daddy for dinner and then headed to the hotel for a sunset swim.
Peanut was so brave this year! Last year she spent the entire four days clinging to someone while in the water. This year she motored all over the pool in her little puddle jumpers. She even went down the slide on her own!

The next morning they were in their swimsuits almost as soon as they woke up! We got a corner room and there were tons of fish in the water so there was almost always someone fishing below us.
"Can we go to the pool now??"

I took them down to the pool while Noni got Peaches ready. It wasn't that warm yet...probably 75 but they jumped right in anyway!
Then the little ladybug came down. So cute!
She had more fun with the pool rings than anything!
Peaches didn't love the water. I think it was a little cold for her. She did love the hot tub which is really big and not very hot.
We went back up to the rooms for lunch and some relaxing. Noni took the girls back down to the pool but something blew in and it got really windy and cool that afternoon so they came back and watched cartoons until Peaches woke up.
We decided to skip the fancy dinner this year. Last year we didn't even get to sit with Daddy, and it's hard to keep the kids quiet and entertained at a fancy restaurant. They had much more fun going to the outdoor drive-in at the lake. One brave duck kept darting underneath Peaches' high chair for her dropped food.
After we ate we walked over to the park and the girls had a ball finding friends and playing "hot lava". Peaches enjoyed the swings.
